-- -- it's the game football fans anticipate all year long and Super Bowl Sunday is nearly upon us.

So who's gonna win it all the ravens -- the 49ers my prediction ready for this.

San Francisco all the way -- recently sat down with Super Bowl champion Joseph -- has been.

And the legendary quarterback issue on his predictions.

That the big game Sunday take a look.

Joseph -- -- great -- yeah of course a bit of a big fan of yours.

As I didn't know you -- I know that you played.

A 163 consecutive games that's that's a pretty good record to be proud of without.

You know major injuries at that time.

Well in all -- all the things that you do in our business to be able to show up every day for work is very important to me and you know a lot of days I played with broken nose is broken hands broken -- broken ribs broken collar bones torn up knees.

You know the little -- things that happen in our business and the it just don't wanna give up that position -- as an act like I wouldn't even let anybody practice.

Because I didn't want to -- to think that somebody could actually take my job.

You have to cut you know what it's that competitive and gotten I'm a jets fans I saw that all year in New York.

-- Mark Sanchez and yet Tim Tebow and -- him play and that became a big message you know.

A -- I have never been no Super Bowl and this is the first year I'm going to the super -- you -- dare you want it over Miami.

What was it 27 seventy.

Correct he had then went back to next year loss to the raiders and I won't tell you that score but it was much more lopsided.

But it's it's an incredible experience not only for us as players for those of us for those that have never been.

But to be able to come down and just have -- in the city of New Orleans the comeback that the city has made.

The way they've rolled out the carpet so many of players are coming in.

You've got you know 47 -- -- a 47 Super Bowl so it was a lot of history.

That's gone past this game a lot of great players will be here for this game and I happen to think that this match up.

Brings to the two best teams in football together a lot of time you say well people may have backed -- they may not deserve to be there.

Both of these teams earned the right to be there and they're very similar teams and coincidentally.

The same families coach -- You have no idea well that's that's actually one -- the great story lines it's going on behind the scenes do you have a pick give a favorite do you have odds that we get -- -- baton.

Yeah well if you want one obviously you're gonna take the jets so I feel really comfortable about -- -- -- -- little.

-- just stick it right didn't impact -- critics and but I don't -- Obama for the election a couple of.

Actually if -- did not now wants.

-- the -- he has his.

I on Monday -- lean towards the 49ers on Tuesday at lean towards the ravens.

But in this football game I think the -- Baltimore Ravens.

They seem to be riding a very big high right now -- -- -- these -- are very evenly matched I'm leaning towards the Baltimore Ravens in this football game I think it's going to be a close game.

Could well get down to the kicking game which I think Baltimore has an advantage and so Hoffman taken the ravens as we now discuss the issue -- hard hitting and concussions and President Obama saying he would let his son played football.

What are you thoughts on.

On -- the injuries head injuries witness stand on the well first of all when you -- you accept the responsibility to play and sign a contract to play this game you understand that is a violent contact game.

So that -- winning you know he -- it there's no guys about it there's no mystery about what this game is about you're probably going to be sore you're probably gonna hurt it's probably gonna affect you rest your life.

The only thing I would say to somebody go up to every professional football player today and asked this question -- you understand.

That this game you know you could wind up with some things happening to you going down the road and in the future.

Walk away from the game today.

Just wait until it right they're not gonna do it by one -- this is they're passionate love it.

Think that's why you that's -- you see guys going out injured that's what you saw Robert Griffin the third I want to come off the field in the Redskins Seattle game.

I think it's a game -- certainly we strive to make it as safe as possible.

The national football league -- the players' association I think are working very hard to make it safe.

But it's typical when somebody's running -- you you're going to lower your head to defend yourself.

I think that it's difficult to legislate hitting out of the game of football if that's going to be the case that you're gonna have a lot of guys make it a lot of money playing flag football.

We think about Tim Tebow does he have a future in the NFL I know this is a very tough year for him.

What do you think.

You know I hope so I hope he gets away from the jets I don't think it was a good marriage going there and winding up.

In some type of a situation where he's an up back on the punt team.

To me that didn't -- -- well I hope he's given an opportunity so that he can answer the question.

Can he play in this game or Kenny not playing this game I hope we go somewhere somebody gives them a chance let -- look -- And then make it a valuation but I will tell you this if you can't complete passes and you can't throw the ball accurately you can't play professional football.

That I see where he's training and -- working with an Olympian.

Mean I'd love to see and work with the quarterback coach should give me an opportunity.

To work on the skills that he needs to play the profession that he knew he loves it he called you and said -- job you one of the best quarterbacks all time in the NFL can you help me -- -- album.

In a heartbeat.

Anyway I could touch I would I would do everything I possibly could give him a chance to live the dream that I've been very lucky and blessed to be able -- -- you know you are once selected as NFL's man of the year for your community service your great American.

Thank you so much Joseph -- -- for being with us thanks for -- -- me I appreciate.
