Appeals court recently ruled that President Obama overstepped his constitutional authority when he appoint three members to the National Labor Relations Board or NLRB.

While the senate was in recess last year Republican senator John Grasso says that means all the NLRB decision since those appointments are no good -- Earlier I asked him about his plans to block -- And National Labor Relations Board Shannon who were illegally and unconstitutionally.

Appointed by the president and made over 200 rulings.

And I want to make sure they don't make any additional rulings now the president has -- -- -- they're just gonna keep on going until the Supreme Court.

Finally -- -- that could be a year from now -- I wanna make sure there are no new rulings and no additional rulings go forward and that's the legislation I'm introducing.

And certainly no guarantee that the court will -- to decide to take up this case the Supreme Court that is.

In the meantime how does this affect business owners.

Union groups others out there who are going to be the beneficiaries or.

In some cases not be so happy about the decisions they get.

What happens to them.

Well it it absolutely creates a cloud of uncertainty.

Overall of these individuals and they're they're not gonna know whether to -- listen to or not listen to the ruins of the NLRB because what it.

One court has ruled is that those people are there illegally and unconstitutionally.

You know Shannon it's time for the president to work with congress not try to sidestep.

Congress in his responsibilities as president to work.

In the role of of just putting up -- name and in the senate has an obligation.

And an opportunity to advise and consent that's the way this ought to be done not the president saying gee I'm gonna wait and try to decide when the congress is in recess for the court ruled -- that's not up for the president to decide.

The senate gets decides when they're in session when they're not.

The -- also and the role of advise and consent is now considering the nomination former senator.

-- -- -- to become the Defense Secretary he's been grilled by some of your colleagues on the hill.

What are your greatest concerns I know you've outlined a number let's start with the Ronald.

Well in terms of Iran I think it does it Chuck Hagel is not really.

Committed.

To making sure Iran does not have nuclear weapons when you take a look at some of the things that he's written.

With his.

Global zero policy eliminating some of our abilities as America maybe even to unilaterally.

Disarm.

I think that there that he is not really right for this job and that's where I'm coming out against him.

And of course those concerns go hand in hand with Israel.

Our ally in that region.

I he's taken a lot of tough questioning about that and -- -- former senator has said.

That he absolutely supports Israel unequivocally that would always be his position as Defense Secretary that he is explained a number of his previous comments.

Why isn't not good enough to convince you.

Well here's a long history of his time in the senate things he's written including the book that he's written since leaving the senate and when you look at his history and his record.

You have to decide do you believe all of those things are you decide.

What he is presenting just in one day in testimony and watching that testimony and -- to -- it -- -- and -- very unconvincing and it seems to me that former senator hagel was much easier when he was on the other side of the panel asking the questions and he is now -- broad enough.

On the other side having to answer them.

Defense Secretary Leon Panetta has been very clear that he's very concerned about pending defense cuts through the sequester and through other means.

He talks about the fact that it will -- be devastating those are his words are you convinced.

That senator hagel shares his concerns for that and would do what he could to protect the Pentagon and the military.

-- not convinced of that at all -- because what secretary Panetta said is what I think is the truth and previously go Chuck Hagel has said that he thought that there was so you know a lot of load didn't in the defense budget and he could take a lot of that.

-- I've just gotten back from Afghanistan visiting with our men and women in the field our troops and -- -- make sure that they have -- what they need.

During the draw down would need to make sure that there are enough troops there to continue the job that needs to be done.

And I would be very concerned if if the secretary hey golf is making recommendations.

To the president that would take out all of the troops immediately.

-- any of a busy time there on the hill with domestic and international issues senator brass at thanks for your time.

Thanks revolution and.
