Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria -- -- from the fox extreme weather center with the forecast for the northeast.

Also portions of the great weeks and -- today it's going to be a relatively cool -- out across portions of the northeast and also portions of the midwest.

Temperatures will be up to ten degrees below average for some but it is early February so we're used to it being cold.

This -- year 33 for your high temperature in New York City 26 over in Syracuse.

27 Detroit and in Minneapolis a chilly -- as well with a high temperature at 27 degrees.

Otherwise dealing with some areas of us snow showers across portions of the western Great Lakes some Wisconsin parts Minnesota and also Illinois.

Dealing with -- -- swinging on -- we could be seeing some consolation anywhere between one to three inches of snow but nothing too significant.

And also portions -- New York City dealing with some of those snow showers early this morning that's pretty much over and done with.

But Connecticut parts of Massachusetts and even across New Jersey we could continue to see some isolated flurries.

Here and -- throughout the day today that -- that's across portions of the midwest today it's gonna head eastbound and -- impacting portions of the northeast.

As we head into leader into the night on Tuesday and also into early Wednesday morning and you're right they're swinging on -- but that storm again.

Relatively dry not a lot of moisture with -- so we're not expecting to see any accumulation relief from that across.

Most of the northeast -- -- -- coating for some of you with slippery driving conditions expected in another -- yet again.

Across portions of the great weeks swinging on through parts of Michigan out there are -- -- -- dealing with some snowfall once again as we head into Wednesday and also.
