Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria Molina from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northwest.

And also portions of the midwest and -- today it's looking relatively cool out across the area but.

I mean it should be actually a little bit cooler than this for many of you.

During the month of February -- earlier in the months of Billings actually seeing temperatures above average 45 for your high today 48 in Casper.

-- across parts of the Pacific northwest 48 degrees for you in Seattle and Portland and also in Medford similar temperatures for all of you.

We do you have an approaching storm system and that's is keeping temperatures rather uniform across that area.

Otherwise in the northern plains 32 degrees for you over in the city of Bismarck we do have a clipper system that has moved on through portions.

Other northern -- did produce a couple of flurries yesterday and also some snow showers before today relatively quiet right now -- and -- And again a new storm system arriving into the Pacific northwest of Seattle Portland you're gonna need the umbrellas today and also over the next several days.

Because we're expecting to continue to see that rainfall with -- number of storm systems basically arriving.

Averages in that rain and across the cascades you're -- -- national product could be accumulating quite heavily at times.

On the way down into northern Californians so -- be doing any driving across mountain passes please be careful out here.

Not just expecting snowfall but even rainfall on some of that.

The lower elevations -- here so we could be looking -- a slow go for you if you're doing any traveling out here otherwise Montana relatively quiet.
