Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice -- taking a look at your temperatures across the northeast preparing -- for a big nor'easter.
In the next 24 to 36 hours we think New England will get the worst the snow in some cases two feet.
Isolated amounts of over thirty inches across New England -- at New York we're still looking at the potential.
We think right now 48 inches -- could be cut back by the fact that we're gonna see kind of a mix a wintry mix of rain and sleet.
So stay tuned we will certainly keep you posted from the Fox News extreme weather center.
But temperatures today cold enough for snow.
In Boston a 2531 in New York 27 in Syracuse 33 in Detroit.
Seeing a clipper system this clipper system across the midwest is gonna combined with the system across the south that's gonna give us that nor'easter as we take a look at the radar you can see that clipper system.
So portions of Wisconsin and and Michigan and across the Ohio River valley the potential for a wintry mix -- could see really three inches to a foot of snow across portions of Wisconsin through.
Michigan and throughout the day today this is gonna -- died south -- And again meet up with that other low pressure system across the south to give us that nor'easter so there's -- future radar and you can see it.
Really started to get its act together Friday afternoon Friday evening into Saturday again from New York to Boston up towards Maine.
This will be namely -- no -- south of that.
A rain event interior sections snow event again in some cases we could be dealing with a blockbuster major winter storm.
