All right I want to get to -- small business spotlight which we do every week now.

This is a fascinating one as well had to use modern technology to fight crime Morgan right and I'm gonna read his title -- as it is written.

He is CEO.

And chief crime fight.

Which sounds very superhero question -- connected to the case -- good to see you thank you for being here.

I Jonathan about telling a little bit about the company want what exactly it is that you do.

Well we're staffed by a lot of former members of America's Most Wanted I come from a law enforcement and intelligence -- -- this is about connecting the dots -- -- -- you social media -- mission.

Is to help law enforcement solve crime return to missing a protector of children by connecting the known to the unknown.

Using social media you know mass media gets you one level of awareness social media accelerates that it shrinks the world around the criminals and around for law enforcement.

To make it easier to develop leads and tips you know hopefully lead to resolution of these cases.

How so how exactly can you would come social media be used in the -- unsolved cases won't.

So here's an example -- one of the cases we've -- right now with the Loudon county sheriff's office is -- Decker and they can find the case at CT case dot com slash Bethany Decker.

What to do is when you take a look at the way social media works -- we connect because -- things we have in common where we grew up where we live where we work for we went to school.

Will criminal case and went out to protect it was no different we wanted to learn the same things about our victims are suspects.

What I've done is put into a central place.

A location to -- citizens -- and law enforcement agencies community upload a case citizens come -- and connect.

They start connecting to things that they might have -- -- on cases they weren't even aware about so.

You know what we're doing is connecting people not just one case but to every case that's in our system.

And you might find out Jonathan you get on the site -- that you have a connection to a case in California -- somebody went to school with.

Ten years ago but you never would have heard about it because you're in a different media market.

Social media really kind of shrinks the world around us and makes it easier for law enforcement to get the information they need to solve crimes are so it's eight this is something that gives -- -- enforcement agencies wherever they be.

A potential access to you know had an innumerable number of new witness is all our own connections as you say absolutely so -- -- but for example the average user on FaceBook has a 125 friends -- site we have our our users average about 410 friends that means that 24000 fans on our page right now are effective reaches nine point four million people why -- he will get -- nine point four million.

And -- and those -- O Reilly number sign -- you get that Vick right.

But but a -- what -- talk about is that most -- it all crime is local but the information needed to solve crime is local anymore it may come from want it may come from Eastern Europe.

You just don't know work's gonna be and in this day and age the Internet has no concept of distance so get -- -- unify this how -- we shrink this.

I spent a lot of time in classified and unclassified environments I saw a lot of dots not getting connected because we didn't do a good job -- discovering the dots that this is about discovery.

Finding outlets know what we know.

Let's connected together and it's a free resource for law enforcement it's a free resource for the community we've built this to give it away and businesses good.

Moment we actually we just we're bringing on more more law enforcement agencies were in our pilot phase right now we have a site to.

We're actually looking more for for more volunteers to help us out because.

Those people who volunteer help us out I don't want people looking for a job I want people looking for a mission so they can go to join -- CTC dot com.

It explains what -- about our main site is connected to the case dot com.

But yeah we brought on several agencies now including Washington DC metro Prince George's County we've been working with US marshals.

And our latest case we better -- with the Loudon county sheriff's office sheriff Mike Chapman and his team.

Is a case of Bethany Dekker who's been missing for two years was five months pregnant last seen January 20 ninth 2011.

So we're working with them to generate more awareness more leads.

I help them get -- help her mom in that family get some closure for her all right it's a great business it seems and now we're delighted to have.

Heard about it today for me Morgan connected to the case dot com is the website for anybody go check that.

Yes and join -- CTC dot com become part of our team help us out all right hold it right CEO and -- crime fighter connected to the case thank you very much so pledge of utility.

Thank you Jonathan.
