Thanks there was a Bill O'Reilly in -- personal story segment tonight Karl -- along with many other Republican analysts took a big hit.

When pres Obama defeated Mitt Romney last November.

Mr.

rose prediction in the election was -- But he remains a major player within the Republican Party in the starting a new political action committee called the conservative.

Victory project.

The problem.

Some conserve.

Outside and then Karl Rove queen for the day and somebody was active in the -- campaign and seven.

And served in his administration for eight years I don't remember Carl row Karl Rove.

Is.

He's a Wheeler dealer he's -- this is his organization he's playing right into the hands of the Democrat.

Party the bottom line is they don't have any better record at picking winners than the quote unquote amateur at Tea Party types.

Do.

And even when they pick winners.

What do we end up winning.

We get.

We get squishy Republican moderates.

And I joining us now from Austin, Texas his -- room.

So I don't know why they're upset I mean you just want Republicans to win right I mean I guess that's what him crew about right.

Yeah well look.

For mr.

-- I was the director of the Texas campaign for Ronald Reagan in ninth in the fall of 1980 and was appointed by President Reagan to sit on the White House fellows selection panel so.

I didn't meet him he didn't -- me but.

You wanted to know where the heck I was then when that's where I was look I -- -- it let's be clear about what this is about the the conservative victory project.

Is an outgrowth of the desire of the donors.

American crossroads to.

Get involved in primaries rush rush said -- we don't have a better record in the Tea Party -- first what we've never been involved in primaries.

As a group before I've been involved personally I gave money -- Marco Rubio early in his campaign.

Primary campaigning as Charlie Crist I gave money early to Pat -- went gave a speech in New York -- group of Pennsylvania donors endorse him to be in the primary I.

I gave money to Tim -- a Tea Party.

Republican candidate from South Carolina whom I admit I gave it to in the primary when there were so called establishment candidates but crossroads -- -- not been involved in primaries.

What crossroads has been doing is spending a lot of money on behalf of Tea Party candidates we spent over thirty million dollars.

On behalf of Tea Party senate candidates and over 25 million dollars for Tea Party house candidates the wanna play -- -- Marco -- well let me finish -- for rubio.

Two point seven far out -- believing many a time anytime you hold a little -- -- There we go well here's the issue.

We spent five point nine million dollars for Richard Murdoch.

Who said that it was God's will have a -- -- -- became pregnant we spent 3.3 million dollars in Missouri.

Until Todd -- can we stop spending when -- -- said.

A woman's body knows when she's been illegitimate leader legitimately -- whatever the heck that means and our donors to -- we have responsibility said.

We're happy to keep writing big checks but we got to do a better job.

Of getting better conservative candidates in these.

In these are -- made some mistakes but everybody makes mistakes.

-- but there is a philosophical difference from say a Christine O'Donnell in Delaware member Christine.

Big star among the Tea Party people.

But the woman couldn't put three sentences together and she got our butt kicked by a very weak candidate cool it's right.

-- -- other -- of defeat right there's a difference between.

People on the far right who -- do appealed to some Americans.

Who really don't.

Have.

Look bill -- this is not about ideology -- about being a bad candidate look.

Marco Rubio is a strong conservative candidate but he's not -- communities he said I -- moderate Republicans -- look Rand Paul.

-- for more conservative point seven million dollars.

Right and look we we gave more money spent more money on behalf of these Tea Party candidates than any other group -- America any group.

I love these groups that are criticizing -- and -- fake conservatives well look I repeat we spent thirty million dollars for Tea Party senate candidates.

And 25 million -- there's no group that comes close to that what crossroads is done in terms of financial support.

For Tea Party candidate and we and we -- -- -- Tea Party or not.

That it's not the question Tea Party or not it's a question whether or not they're bad candidate -- not look we're talking to a lot of conservative groups.

Who get involved in primaries we never have before but there are groups out there and we're talking hoops -- look.

Let's sit down -- figure out if we can do a better job of vetting these candidates.

Because look even conservative groups that are involved in primaries don't get right I'm -- -- -- Scott Walker in what in Wisconsin.

I gave him money the primary -- spoke at the convention that that that nominated him.

Do you think he's a conservative well guess what.

One of the conservative groups.

Oppose him for the nomination for governor so even conservative -- still get a ride but the issue is.

Can we begin to do a better job of vetting these candidates so we target our our money in our resource is better.

Behind him and get candidates.

Who can win the general election so -- actually -- conservative candidate who could win.

Our poor actually c'mon now.

You call owners making fun of various -- -- -- -- -- where we are making -- -- -- we're making thunder were making fun of her by using her comments a woman who says.

I'm deliciously.

Radical the woman who says.

As such -- things about President Obama who lost incidentally Kentucky by -- very large double digit.

Gap I mean this is she is way far out on the left wing of the Democratic Party which is not very far out left in in Kentucky.

Now why is that kind of funny though so are laid out well the Democrats -- First first well first of all but we did spend that much money we spent 101000 dollars that I wanted to put it on the Internet we put 2500 dollars into the -- But look we don't want to have happen in that Kentucky what happened.

In Minnesota where Al Franken knew I had to have a short campaign.

I don't want people pay a lot of attention to me I don't want to know a lot about me except.

I'm a celebrity and a nice guy.

She doesn't want -- long campaign because.

This is just the opening -- story this is the opening it she has said a bunch of stuff that the people of Kentucky when they hear about it or not gonna like it we -- going to.

Lay it out in plenty of time for people to get a handle on it since she's gonna get to know that she's not going to be able to wait until.

You know the screenwriters from California and the producers can you make her look good and prepare the -- and -- lots of draw lines to have.

To memorize so that she can she can handle these things we're good we're we're gonna make her start saying where she's coming out of your -- -- you feel -- if you letter if you make a -- like.

If you don't look O'Reilly only you could be concerned with making a political figure cry I -- players -- on compassionate.

And you know that we want no our -- we want we want heard we want her to explain these radical views that she's gotten in the weeks and months ahead we're gonna continue to introduce those.

Radical views to the people -- -- of everybody there is --
