Hello there I'm meteorologist Janice Dean -- tracking the temperatures across the northeast.

As we have a nor'easter that is approaching us and will continue.

To pound the northeast coastline.

For the next twelve to 24 hours so let's take a look at -- 36 is your daytime high in New York 31 in Syracuse 29 in Detroit 43 in Charleston 42.

In DC DC you're looking at mainly a rain event as we seek to storm systems.

Getting together to bring our blockbuster nor Easter in the overnight hours -- -- clipper across the Great Lakes and then we have the storm that originated across the Gulf Coast a lot of moisture involved here.

And that's gonna give us some heavy wet snow in some cases we could see a foot or more.

Over New England we're looking at two feet perhaps even three feet west of the Boston area.

-- you can see that storm system exiting by Saturday but we're still gonna see very gusty winds in excess of 3040 miles per hour.

Along the coastline they could bring some damage certainly to trees and power lines so that will be concern certainly we're going to see some power outage.

Across the north -- and then if we're gonna watch this next storm system approach Sunday in -- Monday.

It won't be a nor'easter not a blockbuster storm.

But it's still going to -- bring more rain and winds and snow to the region heading into the new work week.

I'm Janice Dean have yourself great and safe weekend.
