And then after that there's not a whole lot to look forward to for a few months.

Until though the weather starts to warm up a little bit and so a lot of folks it's very normal and and typical for folks -- To suffer from seasonal.

Mood disorders or or differences in their in their moves this time of year the winter blues is what a lot of people.

Refer to them as an estimates show that about ten to 20% of people.

Have varying degrees.

The winner -- seasonal affective disorder I guess since the clinical -- doctor -- regard to -- is that clinical psychologist and author you can find him on Twitter at.

Doctor Jeff -- -- always good to see you my friend thanks for misleading here so it's normal so I think that's probably the most important thing to put out there for folks who might be experiencing these symptoms show up and they don't wanna say hey wait a minute maybe.

You know.

You don't feel so so badly about feeling that.

You don't feel so bad about feeling that way number one and number two you can talk about it to other people you don't have to be ashamed of it that you -- to be ashamed about depression are.

Or any of those mood disorders anyway we want people to be able to.

Relate what they're going through that's how they get better but -- right there are a lot of people left the winter blues that's considered to be normal.

And of course like a day like today in the northeast was seeing.

You know no -- it's really cold.

And we've had a really tough Bob ball going into winter so you're not getting that vitamin.

He eating a lot of food and you gaining weight.

It it it brings you down and we see this happening around this time of season -- gets worse than that if you feel that you have to be in bad.

Four more days than not and you feel depressed what days -- not then you might have what you referred to the seasonal affective disorder.

And we treat that through therapy both barrels of natural things you can do but the winter blues is something that we all.

To some extent deal within their natural ways that we can help -- with that.

Let's talk about some of those we have five natural ways to beat the winner -- -- we'll go through them no number one.

Replace a lack of -- with supplements that's right about dean vitamin.

And certainly we see light box therapy also works because it simulates the sun we just caution people.

Whatever you do don't look into the behind this -- -- away -- her garage right exactly when they have the appetizing -- and the -- the beautiful -- smiling right at it don't do that -- that this -- just start your day with movement.

Like yeah basically get up and get out and -- -- you get nothing get out.

And do some exercise when you're in -- you know we -- do we hit the snooze button.

On our.

Our on our -- -- on the clock.

Instead roll out of bed.

Give me fifty pushups if you would a couple of sit ups get your coffee if you need to do that don't get addicted to that however.

But the important thing -- you start that -- with movement and put the lights on because that will cut back on the production of melatonin.

Melatonin makes you sleep a little bit war.

OK so.

Talk about sleep -- obviously that's one of them -- cut back on eating high calorie foods and cards.

But that's so typical when you're stuck inside your house it is and we called that the comfort foods but here's the deal we eat the carbohydrates.

To make up for what's missing serotonin.

It's sort of like a feel good neuro transmitter the problem is when -- eating carbohydrates then you get that hit of serotonin.

Brings you up.

And then you crash yeah so it's important that -- you don't stock -- kitchen with that kind of stuff in the front of your refrigerator put foods that a little bit and I healthier -- on my resonating frequencies but there -- a lot of -- fruits and vegetables that have high resonating frequencies and you do it more natural you get -- Just as I know this is something that you care very deeply about you and I have talked about -- before people might hear the term resonating frequency what does that mean.

Increase your national resident frequency is your tip how do you do that.

Well we all have resonating frequencies every organism every cell every part of -- body has resonating frequency.

And so to get into what we call the harmonic resonate in frequency how I deal resonating frequency we can eat foods that are richer.

In resonating frequencies we can exercise that also increases are resonating frequencies and you could do something which is really easy.

They are now products out there.

Though the one that I talk about all the time the Phillips -- watch within natural resonating frequencies it interacts with -- Frequencies making them harmonic frequencies.

People aware of the -- say you know what we feel less stressed -- -- -- better quality of sleep and it does help us without winter blues.

If people wanna get more information about that they can go to Philip Stein dot com but those all the natural things you can do and I can't stress enough the whole idea of the lifestyle of taking care of this and not having to live with the winter blues you don't have to do it.

Thank you doc doctor Jeffrey guard -- you can find him on Twitter -- doctor Jeff guard year.
