After this courthouse shooting to make sure that the entire scene is secure the mayor says a man suspected of killing his wife and wounding two others at the county courthouse in New Castle is dead.

That's according to the AP mayor Dennis Williams saying the shooter was killed by police.

He also says he was told the man shot and killed his wife.

And wounded two others about 8:10 AM eastern time which would have been two and a half hours ago.

We -- also the mayor Williams says the couple was estranged at the moment.
