Mississippi emergency management officials are estimating about 300 homes are damaged and -- hundred roads remain blocked by debris this morning but so far.

No reports of any deaths the University of Southern Mississippi was very hard hit university officials say.

Many buildings like this -- -- badly damaged but luckily no injuries on campus but that's likely because classes were already canceled today and tomorrow firm Mardi Gras celebrations.

Give -- police declared a state of emergency -- ask that anyone who was not on campus to please stay away and -- with safe and clean.

Governor Phil Bryant plans to visit that hard hit area today and we'll hold the press conference in about an hour.
