Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Maria -- -- from the fox extreme weather center with your forecast for the northeast.
And also portions of the Great Lakes and -- gonna be a relatively -- out across portions of the northeast that's still on the on a five quarter.
Where New York City and -- you're gonna -- incidental forty so we should be seeing.
More snow -- as we -- into the afternoon hours today after that Maurice of that product to forty inches of snow.
Across portions -- Connecticut settlement of good news out there otherwise expecting sunshine as well also be doing any traveling out here are not expecting to see any weather related delays.
At the -- sports statement please be careful on the roadways especially during the early morning hours -- -- -- -- nighttime hours you can get some black -- has some of that snow.
Mountain and brief freezes on the roadways otherwise across portions of the Great Lakes in the thirties for Chicago -- into the Detroit 26 degrees for a high temperature in the city of Marquette and we do have some lake effect snow talk about there is some accumulation expected right out of the -- Across portions of upstate new York and also northwestern Pennsylvania so we could be seeing anywhere between three to six inches of snow but nothing too significant that they were -- used to dealing with.
Out here of course like lake effect snow it's always very localized so depends on exactly where you are located.
We do have a new storm system to track -- as we -- into Wednesday and also in your Thursday it's going to be our next coastal storm system.
That is going to be bringing in more accumulating snowfall across places like New York City portions of Eastern Pennsylvania.
And even into Connecticut and southern New England so again looking at a chance for some additional snowfall -- -- use.
Is that this storm system will not be anywhere near as strong as last when we got across northeast up -- to forty inches in Connecticut.
This time around we're talking anywhere between two to four inches of snow across the New York City area.
And even further -- towards north across portions of Connecticut so this next storm again much weaker not expecting too many issues with it.
But we will have to watch -- -- slippery driving conditions as we head into late Wednesday night and also into early Thursday morning otherwise relatively quiet across the region.
