I'm on the hill Mike thank you well most of the president's State of the Union Address last night centered on ways he believes.
To pump up the economy.
Today he took those ideas on a sales trip.
Here's chief White House correspondent -- had.
Back on the road for President Obama at a Canadian owned auto parts factory that's bringing new jobs to North Carolina.
Campaigning for new proposals that warm the hearts of the left.
With talk of investing government money.
And making sure the colleges are affordable and accessible to every single American.

For the second straight day the president's team insisted the array of new initiatives will not add a dime to the deficit raising tackles from the Republican National Committee.
Noting previous promises of no cost government programs -- I'm promoting tonight we shouldn't increase our deficit money's single who died on Health Care Reform will not hadn't -- diamonds -- -- top White House aides say the president can cover the new ideas.
And pay down the debt by redirecting existing floods and wiping out tax loopholes and deductions.

Is not only -- fully paid for all of these new proposals.
But he's actually gonna have about a trillion and a half dollars of deficit reduction above and beyond the cost of paying for these proposals.
The president may be putting less emphasis on the deficit because top Democrats tell fox in meetings on Tuesday before the state of the union White House officials privately said they're planning a multi week campaign outside the beltway.
Because they're nervous the economy is stalling again.
And then today a new report found retail sales.
Edged up a disappointing point 1% in January from December.
While the Commerce Department revealed that in December US companies restock their inventories at the slowest pace since June.
A -- sales are getting weak.
Which is why the president is focused on stimulus.
While we're seeing some signs of solid progress.
You know car sales -- up housing start to recover.
We're still.
-- aways away from where we need to be a refrain Republicans say they've heard before you know last night president offered up more of the same.
Higher taxes for more stimulus spending we still did not know the price tag on the president's proposals -- aides say it will be in his new budget.
