-- -- -- -- Police in Arkansas discovered her body on her front porch the same place her boyfriend died last month in an apparent suicide.

The local sheriff says it appears that McCready died of a self inflicted gunshot wound.

Back in 1996.

But in recent years she received more media attention for her troubled personal life than her -- -- struggled with addiction mental illness and was arrested several times she also fought a leak the and bitter battle with her own mother.

Mindy McCready was only 37 years old.
