Hi everyone I'm meteorologist Mario -- -- -- from the fox extreme weather center with the forecast for the northeast.

And also the Great Lakes and today's much cooler day and what we saw yesterday especially along portions of -- -- -- quarter we saw temperatures.

Make it well into the forties across Boston New York City.

And even into the fifties across portions of the mid Atlantic and today temperatures as much as ten or even more degrees.

Cooler 35 degrees for high temperature in New York City upper thirties in Boston.

Portions of the interior northeast only in its when he sitting in Syracuse Pittsburgh Detroit.

And portions of the upper Great Lakes like Marquette you're talking twelve degrees for -- high temperature so we have that cool -- went -- to yesterday.

Leaving behind that cold air but colder air over the relatively warmer Great Lakes.

Doesn't mean lake effect snow and that's exactly what we have set up right now across portions of western Michigan.

Parts our areas downwind of Lake Erie also -- and carry us a heads up -- new and unfamiliar already dealing with that snowfall.

And some of you could actually see as much as -- inches of snow downwind at a greatly so we have a number of winter storm warnings in place.

Lake effect warnings as well across areas in upstate New York so keep that in mind -- -- -- conditions right off of the Great Lakes.

Along with some gusty winds otherwise area -- areas along on any -- -- much -- fourteen day.

-- -- the feature radar as we head into next several days we are expecting relatively quiet weather the lake effect snow eventually actually winds down last weekend's here Thursday and also into your Friday so much quieter weather.
