Flames from the massive four alarm fire soared high into the night skies you can -- in your screen.

The explosion leaving at least fourteen people injured.

And left to initially and accounted for one of them was found is being treated in the hospital.

The firefighters with cadaver dogs are now trying to locate the other person a woman who worked at JJ's restaurant.

We've been in contact with Jimmy front say the owner JJ's.

His first concern was not the building or the rest were 127 years you've been in business.

But the people who worked in that business with him for a number of years and their safety he was out of town and was heading back.

In the -- when we first talked to him.

Let's see here James next -- Mike Tobin in the meantime is live in Kansas City, Missouri with more on this Mike what's happening there are now.

Legit and I can step out of the way -- cameraman zoom in so I can show you the primary activity that's been going on here in the morning and what you see mostly on the fire crews.

Who as you mentioned have been sifting through that rubble and what will probably amount to a sad task they are looking for that one woman.

Who worked at JJ's restaurant and has been missing since the blast the blast occurring at 6 o'clock local time.

It was a massive fireball that engulfed the area that you're looking at right now you may have mentioned broke windows out in building some six blocks away.

Of the people who were injured three remain hospitalized in critical and serious condition but what's interesting to note about the injuries are not necessarily what you would think the injuries or not.

Burn injuries are smoke inhalation.

You're seeing dramatic injuries result from this things like broken bones and questions -- and concussions they came from the force of the blast.

Not necessarily the fire again.

With that have a fire it's hard not to imagine the worst Mike when you see those flames investigators believe that was sparked by a gas -- at least.

It is a -- an initial reports we've had any additional information about what might have happened here.

Well everything is pointing to the crew with via Missouri gas and energy that was working in the area reported that they EI had a -- -- gas line possibly cause that -- He had eyewitnesses are witnesses earlier in the day as early as six hours earlier saying that they smelled some kind of gas but an -- the immediate hour before that gas witnesses say the smell of the gas was overwhelming.

We finally called the gas company they came out.

They checked -- buildings had we were above.

That limit that will.

With healthy and that we needed back UH so but he stepped out the door to it was a two minutes when we we -- grabbed our stuff.

And the explosion head and it hits you like a shock -- One of my friends just -- from a couple blocks and the road here and he was.

And her reps felt this huge right.

Removed image in his room and he immediately called me because he yes that I go to the bar.

Can't balance sneakers and it was concerned I was there.

-- the state regulatory commission has now sent investigators here there on the ground right now investigating.

Things like if the gas lines were marked properly or if those utility workers were operating the way they were supposed to heeding the warnings following the markings making sure.

They didn't cause a ghastly.

That result and in this tragedy see behind me again.

More information as we get -- Mike thank you very much Mike -- today in Kansas City.
