But don't -- portends a dollars and of that graphic today is BS solar concerns -- following gas prices -- This guy gets a pass.
Exact same thing happened to his predecessor and let's just say he did not get a test I'm not saying one is right and one is wrong.
But if your standard -- fury at the White House over rising gas prices then shouldn't you go after both.
Not when it comes a mainstream media and the collective powers that be in Washington who would sooner -- north 34 days spiking gas prices now.
Twice as bad as the comparatively minor spike in prices that created a virtual -- -- Former Alabama congressman Artur Davis -- -- it is we're -- -- -- we.
When it.
Will -- good afternoon I don't think it's any huge surprise to a lot of folks in your audience that they are tutor for world's.
There's the one the mainstream media and many of the newspapers of this country tell us about.
And there's the one that millions of Americans -- living day in and day out.
The reality is that you mention one very good example how gas prices recovered under bush -- opposed Obama.
They are so many other economic examples let's not forget the fact that -- for a four year period.
President Obama's job creation total when you take out the jobs losses trachsel from the job gains was a net of 28000.
What every five day is in this economy.
Roughly that many people come into the workforce and for years he created enough jobs to fill a week's worth.
Of new job applicants in the United States.
President Bush had better job numbers and that -- live there weren't great job numbers.
But there were better job numbers and that.
And we all remember particularly in 2003 and 2004 war that we heard all this talk about the jobless bush recovery.
You know the media of course and give Obama a free pass on the economy but they didn't cover the Obama economy.
With anywhere near the -- before roster lately covered the bush -- -- -- say is when it comes this sort of stuff if you're going to be aggressive on Monday aggressive on all so what we were raising earlier with the coverage of Jesse Jackson junior.
And you know all of his problems if you're gonna go after -- Republicans -- and improprieties might as well go with equal zeal.
Covering Democrats and as I'm not saying that that's the answer but consistency certainly is a good way to start but I'd on the economy Stephanie.
We are led to believe that we're in the middle of a gangbusters recovery when in fact even today.
We're still net jobs down to this administration to say nothing of not -- keeping up.
With the increase -- population that you instantly pointed out.
But I -- wonder as I see this going forward some years.
Whether even -- coverage of the whole -- -- about it's it's Republicans being intransigent.
Wanting to control spending and not Democrats who seem to be equally zealous.
And not wanting to control -- it and I'm just saying what's good for the goose ought to be good for the gander.
What bill -- pick up on that point.
What's happening with sequestration.
And a couple of -- guests earlier alluded to this.
President Obama has -- political strategy this is act three and a three part play.
Two years ago when the debt ceiling debate happen.
President Obama -- Republicans in congress you've got a choice either give me what I want or you're gonna get blamed for the economy -- We saw part two last December President Obama -- and give me the tax increases that I want or you're going to be blame for the economy contracting.
Now we see part three give me at that tax increases want or you're gonna be blamed for sequestration happening next week.
It's a political tactic that I guess that you could argue that its work because he got away with that the first two times but sometimes what Smart politics.
Is exactly the opposite kind of governments and it's irresponsible.
So as a practical matter I don't think any of us know what what happened next week.
I would be as surprised as you are.
If Barack Obama's administration allowed some of the cuts to happen the president's been talking about the last few days if this is political gamesmanship.
And it's political gamesmanship that's going on while from middle class Americans the -- the gas prices going up.
But they got to hike and their Social Security taxes.
And by the way most Americans are a good chunk of middle class Americans I should say.
Pay more and -- than they do -- Income taxes or -- and what pres Obama did nothing to renew.
The -- and -- it taxes.
And an addition to that consumer confidence is starting to slow down again and everyone your audience that appreciate them the last quarter of last year.
We have contraction in this economy.
We have this economy not just slowdown.
We as the economy contract and we get another car alert this year we're where we're back -- and we wouldn't be literally back in a recession -- of the housing data today.
This is the weakest recovery and it continues to be the weakest recovery in my lifetime and I know Democrats like to call -- Republican talking points.
The reason we keep saying and as a keeps -- the reality.
Now and we -- know that have John McCain won four years ago.
And had a recovery this miserly we would be hearing about the pathetic McCain recovery.
We never got to that archer Davis thank you -- -- here again.
Thank you and -- me.
