Hello everyone I'm meteorologist Janice Dean taking a look at your daytime highs across the south east and the central plains looking at rounds they'll look at you close -- any degree is.

73 in Houston seven in New Orleans but look at Nashville 52 and twenty I in Kansas City.

66 in Charleston 82 in -- land -- 81.

In Miami we've -- big old storm moving across the central US.

And the potential for severe weather anywhere from Texas through Louisiana and Mississippi.

Up towards Arkansas and then you can see that wintry mix across portions of Arkansas into Missouri.

Where we have an ice storm warnings and that's going to be really dangerous we could see up to a half inch of ice on the roads.

And the power lines and the trees so that could be really really dangerous just pay close attention to your local.

Fox stations looking at the future radar you can see that storm system moving -- the associated cold front.

Bringing heavy rain across the southeast 12 inches easily.

Some isolated areas could get four to five inches of rain much needed rain but we're certainly gonna see the potential for flooding.

Over the next twelve to 24 hours.
