Let's bring in the political panel on all of -- now with me here in the studio Kevin McCullough.
But nationally syndicated talk show host -- KMC radio I believe -- yes sir as -- two and a -- and Richard Fella.
Most of the stunningly named Richard Fallon show that we act radio WPA -- -- 1480 and DC.
Good to -- -- Richard.
Good to see two John that we syndicated as well so the syndicated host of syndicated host a good congratulations gotta bear it and do you completely get that -- today -- -- -- and Richard I can tell you is a prolific.
And I'll always interesting tweet -- leave especially Richard.
This is this whole debate here the president says it's the republicans' fault the Republicans as the president -- we are getting nowhere.
Can't anybody just grow up here.
I think that's what the American people are saying can a Washington dropping get the puck and get this done the president is willing to get done he's urged congress to bring them to a -- he can sign it.
Unfortunately -- in congress to decide to go on vacation once again they've only been and that's in nineteen days.
And this whole year while many Americans have been at work almost sixty days this year -- sort of shows you that -- between congress and the regular American people.
If congress gets nothing done -- millions of people suffer 70000 kids we kicked off -- a 120 food inspectors will be fired that means.
Kids are getting educated our food -- -- safe and it's just bad it's bad for the country is bad for our economy to be honest.
-- got Kevin I'm assuming you would completely disagree with the idea that president -- said let's get this done them and do it I'm just be funneled.
Well because.
Well I am because while while Richard is listing all these things that will happen if this doesn't happen.
I would just like to ask the president then why why did you put that idea forward why did your team.
Craft these ideas what was your purpose in saying if we don't come to some sort of fiscal responsible solution.
Here's going to be our backstop this was the president's team's idea mr.
-- admitted that to Brett -- day before yesterday.
That's that's this is on the president.
To change.
What they intend to do going forward.
And that's kind of where it's left I mean extended is that a fair accusation -- being made by many that.
This is all along -- -- President Obama as I did including Jay Carney.
The look Jonathan we can put the blame game all we want that doesn't stop it and -- -- back -- on March 1.
We'll lose.
Tons of money that goes in this economy that uses a lot of that it isn't just a better decisions of the magnitude of the matter is that congress had -- -- -- the constitution says that congress must produce a budget and therefore waiting on John Boehner and his house to originate a budget so that we can get these problems -- and get America back to work at the end of the -- the -- -- far beyond.
Just the president of -- -- are very bad enough already -- having -- budgeted.
Did that that's not the point the point is that congress is responsible for spending -- responsible for allocating spending so it is the job of John Boehner and the house representatives -- -- -- work they were trying to stops they get to work they refuse to even -- -- plan are where is John bidders plan.
Decade it it shows that plan is is to not spend as much because we don't have the ability to pay the bills that they'll I don't think so I -- I -- writing from John did all right Richard did you think it was so the idea is that we we couldn't when we gave the president more money in the debt ceiling debate.
And we did that in part by the president's commitment to finding the cuts the cuts haven't been found.
This was the president's idea his team crafted the specifics of the idea.
They're the ones that said let's take away lunches from kids let's take teachers out of the classroom let's take.
Police off the street and Border Patrol off the borders.
All of this came from the president's office this is entirely his plan his spokesperson being forced to say -- -- -- -- yesterday admitted that look at that would seem to.
He was well it was kind of cool and all the world that has enough problems no one -- does not create more than before you come back on that Richard Kevin is laying out what he says.
The president's.
Ideas would do in effect.
Yesterday we heard from my Press Secretary Jay -- you mentioned that Kevin.
Talking about what the White House believes speaker Boehner is ideas really his Jake Condit the wife has -- People -- -- -- in order to protect these special tax breaks for corporate -- and oil and gas companies is just it makes no sense and it's bad policy in the speaker says that.
Discussion about revenue -- close again.
Ask Americans around the country whether they agree.
That it is better economic policy for middle class Americans who lose their jobs.
Floor.
Oil and gas companies.
To have their subsidies would lose or corporate jet owners to have their local courts I think we all know what the answer that -- that -- -- somewhat.
-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- I'm just I'm just astounded that Richards yelling -- Republicans.
-- all of these ideas stem from 16100 Pennsylvania Avenue.
This is not none of none of these cuts.
Were designed by republic Republicans didn't artists like whatever whatever whatever the facts not on that -- The president.
Currently seems to be winning it.
The debate in terms of public opinion.
That's is that how much of a problem is that a little Elvis that's true I don't know -- -- the American -- have shown I don't even know how much the American public pays attention to what polls are being blown up maybe two at the end of the day.
We do know a few things we do know that the average taxpayer was asked to.
Pony up at least two and a half percent more of their own earnings at the beginning of this year no no matter the tax bracket they came into.
Com and we already know that revenues if you took every.
Bit.
Every single piece of earnings in the entirety the United States workforce -- you could not pay the deficit now.
So if if we're not coming to grips with the fact that.
85 billion in cuts which both sides have agreed this is a good starting place in terms of economic it's it's about two and a half to 3% of the total.
GDP that we're talking about it is not it's not a huge amount but they are strategic and we've got to start somewhere and the economic house is not an order.
That the Republicans came forward and said let's talk about ways to do this the president said no.
Here we are with the looming deadline and if it did six months ago the president thought the Republicans would be on the defense Republicans are saying guys think we've tried.
These are your cuts you all don't you get them for the point fourteen hours.
Are you looking -- fall there.
The truth is the truth is that the American people they do understand and they are on the side of the president all the polls so that'll be on the bulls I guarantee this on March 1 when the 70000 families -- kicked off headstart.
Or military families lose their benefits or when veterans lose their benefits or one food inspectors -- decreased or -- are our museums closed the world and when -- when air traffic control workers are not at work.
-- all Americans be concerned they'll put that blame squarely on John Boehner and the obstruction in the House of Representatives point by copyright I want to move --
