-- we're seeing a dramatic about face apparently from some top Democrats today.

-- not only voted for president Obama's health care overhaul but -- some of its most vocal supporters.

Like Bill Nelson Ron Wyden and Maria Cantwell.

C a Senate Finance Committee hearing got under way and it got rather heated.

Earlier this week when chairman Max Baucus and other Democrats -- -- -- headed his government group that's overseeing the implementation of Obama Kennedys are Democrats.

Questioning this administration official on obamacare.

-- this.

Mr.

chairman.

We have this kind of implementation.

Then we're not -- fulfill that goal that we you'll see when we do abortion they put together in your community.

His health care -- the IRS determines.

Debt affordability is going to be based on the cost of the workers individual.

Coverage not the cost.

A family coverage so we're going to have millions of spouses.

And dependents in -- kind of regulatory.

No -- -- land.

Are you artificially raising the -- to all taxpayers.

Why trying to lure people on to the exchange as opposed to giving them this option that is mandated by federal law to be implemented in 24 team.

-- sure that yes this committee asked for the specific details.

It could get details.

Will be happy to working to -- you details Nelson.

Now we expect him the specifics -- that -- confusing but the point you can see they're not happy.

Joining me now -- -- -- she's a democratic political strategist and served as an aide to former New Jersey governor James -- -- Mary Walters with us as well she's a radio talk show host.

And doctor Marc Siegel is a member of our Fox News medical -- teams and I'm Ivan setting this stuff you know is a news anchor -- and that that confuse me.

And and they were really deep in the weeds a lot of issues but -- what what I did take away is.

It's Democrats it's Democrat on Democrat blood.

I mean it's -- folks saying.

View I don't like the -- is being implemented you're endangering people they're gonna have rate hikes have given to be charged more on necessarily because you're charging -- a different way.

And and there's a problem.

It it reminds me I can't help but go there of this -- -- Nancy Pelosi moment.

We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it.

Away from the bulk of the controversy.

-- But that it is kind of fun to watch them eat their young though isn't it.

I don't know why don't they get everything is live on they're worried about what's gonna added but it's fun as an outsider watching all the things that Republicans said we're going to happen.

Start to unfold and that -- look -- to watch them learned.

And to watch the look of absolute shock on their faces these this is a group of people that voted for as Nancy said a bill they -- know what was in it nobody read it.

They don't know how to pay for it they don't how it's gonna be implemented and they don't how much it's gonna cost.

So the fact that they're surprised by all of this is surprising to me how can you be surprised.

We know there's going to be a shortage of doctors there are they made an announcement on Friday that they're cutting.

Funding to Medicare Advantage.

There is a loophole Laura glitch that nobody knew about that is that is keeping a lower class families.

All from getting health care universal just announced that they're not going to be providing health care for part time workers it was everyone saw this coming except the people who voted for.

Of all that Terry had reports last week that at least half the -- union have decided not to participate in these exchanges -- is like the Expedia dot com.

That's I've been referring to them and guidelines set -- where you say -- -- his -- old I am this is my medical history which which plan should I get which government subsidized plan should I get.

And did that teach us what to do this individually but half of decided after some of the feds need to updated budget for that adequately.

So there's those problems -- -- -- that rate hikes going up that we heard last week that the bridge program -- -- insure people for the pre existing conditions they're out of money.

A year before they expected to be out of money so many problems that we hear dated -- with this -- mean is this thing coming off -- -- -- parcel I like this.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- I worked for him and -- never see any law passed where everybody a 100% agrees with that.

-- what I find ironic about their criticism.

The criticism is not about the law itself and its provisions it's about the fact that certain parts of our being delayed and they want to die and how they criticism is to expand coverage so that certain middle class families.

Get more subsidies from the government.

That's that's in the nature of what they were criticizing law and you look at the -- there are some positive things haven't come out and one half a million young people now have insurance and didn't have insurance before Gallup did a poll that says since that war came into effect allows people to stay on their parents cover is.

And a certain age that the number of uninsured young people is going down that's a good thing for this country -- young people in -- and covered it is everything.

Much of a question that the people who are not insured who are getting get insurance -- to obamacare are probably better off than they were before.

But the question is whether the people who had insurance -- obamacare.

Are going to be better off in the wake of that practicing the thoughts of what we what we're witnessing now.

Well -- it -- area also with all due respect to -- don't think there's a minor glitches because that -- a lot of us are concerned about what the premiums are gonna look like because at the exchanges were talking about the kind of insurance that's comprehensive.

That covers a lot of lot of services that insurance than necessarily cover before.

And the reason there's this big glitch we're talking about is because the premiums are going to be so high that people that are forced off their employer policies are gonna come to these exchanges.

And maybe not be able to afford the policies there and not have the federal backing they need -- -- -- Be subsidized.

That's a government might not be questioned dwell on what it's still be a -- permanently expensive -- of leaks.

Will be and they may not qualify for a subsidy and I also they may not qualify these people -- come to the exchanges.

And may not qualify and if they do qualify that's coming out of -- taxpayer pocket and I also think it's really ironic I wanna point out how ironic it is that Max Baucus of all people.

Member of the baucus bill -- -- the senate version of obamacare was essentially called the baucus bill because he was -- learning -- after the Massachusetts bill and now he says.

Wait a minute the computers here or not matching the archaic computers of the IRS and Social Security well.

How about figuring that out and -- -- not a minor problem -- go to go to the virtual universe and you try to order a policy and it doesn't match with what the rest of the federal government that's -- -- -- because.

As the Expedia dot com version of the it is -- -- -- more time.

This -- -- -- about this let's be linked up to Social Security in all these other government agencies they can figure out how to taxi and so on and use.

This guy who's remained back for the bills saying how there -- can't -- -- -- an end you know as a fair question wiley and -- think about that back and went to what doctor -- -- said the CBO just released a report it that the subsidies to the exchanges are gonna be approximately between -- percent more than they had originally thought.

That's as of right now so imagine what it's going with they're gonna be a year from now and -- -- on the front.

There is a question about whether some of these dams are trying to put distance between themselves and the law.

Because these guys are -- for reelection and 2014 and you know.

Now really asserted.

With -- metal meets the road is that the second thing over there ever read the greens -- -- -- -- elemental rather.

-- -- fourteen kicks in and really you have to have everything set up any changes in at least with me.

And these guys are facing reelection and a question about whether they see a problem coming and they -- -- see more than any.

I raised issues about this I tried to get it fixed.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- One out home I got to actually willing to reconsider and you had to pass on that would you rather have them push a -- -- and not make changes to -- and you know what -- for the push it through the amount -- ambulance -- -- -- they put on red -- and I -- why he's so -- call that he that he's -- -- are made it.

I think you're a real -- I think the real problem here is that it's health insurance itself is archaic it doesn't think in the right concerts anymore it thinks hospitalization.

-- patient now is one of the office what about in between what about what real patients are experiencing.

Insurance and on the reporter on this next week insurance doesn't fit what actual patients are suffering so premiums soar and then my patients complain I get in the carrying -- anyway.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is -- it.

Away from the bulk of the controversy.

We report you decide to get this little -- I'm see the exit exam is right now a wave runner up a lot of controversy when -- line -- to pass it before you understand what was in and --
