Hampton roads is like so many communities in Virginia.

And today the deputy Defense Secretary warned by the end of the year two thirds of all army units will not be ready to fight other wars.

Local Virginia congressman Bobby Scott wants congress to cancel the sequester.

Our nation is facing a serious self inflicted crisis.

They could cause our economy and millions of jobs across the nation and hundreds of thousands of jobs.

Here in Virginia -- in -- swain are retired pentagon civilian employees who retire to the Hampton roads area.
