Well you up -- preachers kids singing hymns in the church and now he's at chart topping gospel artist.

And had a wonderful time as a part of that but wanted to get -- -- some stuff on my almanac -- and try to.

Affect the culture that I could belief system -- -- -- and I'm raising my family and and so we cut a good -- record in 2000 and felt very deep and then I am record last year that has done really well or.

And you know as far as.

Other things I'm having a wonderful I'm hosting a television show on based our network.

Which is a gospel music show we have a bunch of folks that I traveled from tying with for years that come through.

And I get to interview a woman and this is some good music and expose some good music that you they're watching audience so I'm -- a fabulous I'm getting to do about it.

You know we're -- justice lying -- -- cover of your -- and new CD is called hinged.

And you grew up in no -- in the -- basically how important is that was that in terms of you branching out to become -- Gospel singer.

Well obviously.

Being -- gospel -- that was pretty important to me I'm not cute baby.

Venerated you know on where they're between my mom and and wanted to leave the church make -- we didn't -- that this kid.

But I'm very familiar Richard culture I'm thankful for for -- -- I know there's a lot of people that I'm about the church that.

I cannot agree with a mentor Bill Gates -- who used to say.

I you know I've -- a guy think he on the arc with no.

But it was the best ship afloat.

And I kind of feel that way about the church see I still -- -- people like me.

And he gets sticky sometimes but it is the fashion world and so I'm very very thankful for here it's.

Brought me out again in -- fellowship of believers.

You could you stayed.

Well -- mind -- he's the man that -- fifty years and to Christian music industry he and his wife Gloria.

I'm very true I certainly benefited from my involvement -- not just personal but in our careers well.
