He says it was all an accident earlier today I spoke with a journalist who's interviewed historians he says the blade runner often had trouble sleeping so what he did it.
He went to a gun range to relax when he couldn't sleep.
The journalist says the stories showed him how to shoot but was never weird about it he also mentioned his stories has a bit of a wild side.
He had a risk taking streak.

You he crashed his speed boat.
He races dirt bikes I mean this is a guy with a lot of physical bearing.
So I worried about him hurting himself I didn't see him hurting someone -- Certainly didn't seem killing someone either.
But that's exactly what the blade runner admits he -- and this story he's telling now about his girlfriend's death on Valentine's Day.
Is completely different from what prosecutors are presenting.
Back to the foxwoods she of course by Jonathan Hunt in our newsroom in New York Jonathan -- Is no argument here on the facts of that Oscar historian shot and killed his -- friend revisiting cap but -- two very different pictures of how and why it happened.
First of all the -- to the shooting at -- stories over the gated community historian says he and -- camp were asleep.
The prosecution says not so -- claims that neighbors several hundred feet away heard them arguing for perhaps as much as two hours.
Prior to the shooting as for the shooting itself take a look at this mock up this story -- claims he woke up.
Thought that was an intruder in the bathroom so without attaching his prosthetic legs -- -- dominant hold himself to that bathroom and fired the fatal shots.
Prosecutors said this story is knew full well it was dean camp in the bathroom took the trying to attach those legs.
Walked to the bathroom and fired intending to kill they also said -- -- has -- was on the steam -- side of the bed.
So when he -- -- he must've seen she was not in that bad this story is simply says it was -- in the bedroom he assumed she was that sleep.
Then -- the optima.
The prosecution says that wouldn't know calls for help to the police.
Or ambulance service on any of the fall cell phones they found in the bathroom and bedroom historian says he called the manager of the housing complex.
And I asked him -- called for an ambulance he also called a private paramedic service he says he made those calls on offense followed the -- apparently didn't find now all of this will eventually be heard not by a jury as they're on the -- that African trials.
But by a single judge who will decide whether it was asked this -- -- claims a tragic accident.
Or -- the prosecution says Mota in cold blood.
