-- -- -- Extreme weather alert now and that monster snowstorm bearing down on parts of New England this fox report live tonight.

The third major one in just the last three weeks every weekend they get it.

Take a look at this map as you know the storm is already swept across just about the entire country.

Yesterday the central plains got blasted.

It's already killed at least four people canceled hundreds of flights closed roads and highways all over the place.

There was even some rare snowstorm lightning.

You'll see that every day.

But now the northeast is back in the cross -- from northern Connecticut all the way to Maine.

How we look admit.

Hey -- where earlier a lot of target here that storm -- head right out into the northeast the initial part of that storms are heading up towards the Great Lakes area but another version of that we'll get going.

And slide in the southeast of New York City and eventually towards southeastern sections of new England and intensify as -- goes by some good news though.

New indications are it's going to be a little bit weaker than we originally thinking.

And also a little bit further south and he -- you look at the forecast ahead -- tomorrow.

It's just rain for the big cities -- New York mix of rain and snow -- -- Providence and Hartford up in the Boston.

And that it continues to advance -- -- heavier snowfall in central sections of new England and -- -- from kind of moves along and finally pulls out of the way early next week but it still leaves behind a sizable amount.

-- about three or six inches -- Boston two or three inches in Hartford the real snowfall be good for the ski areas that you had toward southern Vermont and New Hampshire.

And in the old storm is still causing some snow across the northern plains states a swath from the UP of Michigan and Wisconsin and just what that was our -- look what's diving into the Pacific northwest that's going to be another storm that we'll dive across the Rockies have produced no from there.
