The church of Donna -- for presents some six million Americans predominately African Americans it is currently sponsoring.

And urban initiative to deal with five various crime prevention stretching the family getting jobs financial literacy.

And most importantly education bishop Charles Blake says the church believes it will lead to more people being able to live their lives beyond -- Throughout many urban areas in America violence is beginning violence young people getting gunned down before they complete high school.

The mayors of cities like Chicago Philadelphia New Orleans are experiencing this vicious cycle of murder and making every effort to stop the bloodshed.

But they acknowledged to task will need more organizations to join the fight against crime and poor education.

Education is tied.

-- -- Bishop Charles Blake has the presiding bishop over the Church of God in Christ he is very familiar with the needs of the black and Latino communities throughout America.

He grew up in a similar area in the Logan heights area of San Diego.

African American community.

And it is good for -- to get that -- first experience and exposure.

As a leader bishop Blake focuses not only on America's spiritual development but it's advancement and education.

The bishop believes education is a national security and humanitarian issue.

He says providing a good education will keep children away from gang violence and reduce the number of black and Latino youth.

Who go to prison as a rite of passage is set of graduating from high school and college.

And almost 50% of our young people in the back.

And to advocate for their own children to make sure that children get the education.

Blake also says good teachers need to be motivated to make a difference and each child's life but.
