Eric -- -- this new developments to tell you about from our -- this morning just days before more talks are sound over the country's disputed nuclear program.
The Islamic regime says it has discovered some substantial new uranium deposits.
And they say they have identified sixteen more nuclear power plant sites.
The timing suggests there are trying to bolster the negotiating power advance of the new negotiations that stored in just about 48 hours.
This amid the continuing fears that Tehran has been trying to develop a nuclear bomb.
The development they've always denied.
We'll -- -- talks -- chief.
-- -- -- Former United States ambassador to the United Nations and Fox's contributor John Bolton -- as he does about this time every Sunday morning ambassador.
Good morning there so on Tuesday they're gonna sit down -- houses stand and do what exactly.
Well I'm very worried as we've discussed before that the United States and our European friends are -- -- propose a a critical concessions to Iran.
That that we won't permit Iran to continue to enrich uranium to -- reactor grade level.
If Iran promises to give up enriching to a slightly higher level now that sounds like progress.
But in fact it's not a -- still remain very close to a capability to enrich to weapons grade levels and worst of all.
By agreeing to any kind of enrichment.
We are conceding the legitimacy of Iran's nuclear program which from its start has been a weapons program represents a retreat.
From the US and European position of over ten years.
It even represents a retreat from the UN Security Council if you can believe that and its resolution of over six years ago.
So this is a deal that Tehran would like.
-- -- they would like more as well they'd like relief from the sanctions and and I'm very word particularly with the new secretary of state and possibly a new secretary of defense.
The Obama administration wants a diplomatic success quote unquote.
Which of course you can always achieved by giving in -- your adversaries position when they were of course say the diplomatic.
Success saying it would be a success as opposed to post war and you mentioned John Kerry embarking today on this trip.
What do you think that he can achieve what he will be proposing music goes on this trip in dealing with the Iranian nuclear issue.
Well I'm very worried that what's gonna happen is by legitimizing the Iran in program you are increasing.
The risk that Iran will get to nuclear weapons very very quickly and I think the example of North Korea we've just seen their third nuclear test within the past days.
That once you get to a certain point people begin to accept that you are nuclear power that's what the north Koreans have been counting on in the face of much stiffer sanctions that have been imposed on Iran and I think the lesson for a rod is just keep plugging ahead.
And they will be able to overcome the west opposition once that happens.
Everything in the Middle East changes to -- a -- -- -- -- just -- a -- point that -- sanctions against -- North Korea and -- have been much stronger.
Then Tehran and look they've had what three tests already.
-- look that the sanctions against Iran are having an economic impact primarily on -- -- middle class which by the way is the element of Iran in society.
Most opposed to the Ayatollah is.
So leaving that aside that the fact is that Iran is prepared to spend what it needs to do.
To broaden and deepen its nuclear weapons program the international atomic energy agency this week issued its regular quarterly report.
Which showed -- -- continuing to expand and modernize its enrichment process.
Making very rapid progress on -- heavy water reactor which would be a breeder reactor for the plutonium route to nuclear weapons.
Iran obviously not worried at all about the United States the only question here is what the Government of Israel decides to do in the next months.
Did you just mentioned the IAEA -- there and that report that they should this last week look.
They say that Iran and at times at that facility -- were installed even more advanced centrifuges what does this mean.
When they keep on installing more advanced technological equipment and how close can they be ambassador to potentially achieving a nuclear -- Well the enrichment halls at the times are huge could hold up to 20000 centrifuges for enriching U rain so they've still got a lot of empty space.
But the fact that they're beginning to install.
The second generation centrifuges and perhaps even more advanced.
Equipment demonstrates that that they are not inhibited in terms of their expenditures on this nuclear program.
And the more.
Reactor grade uranium they have the easier would be to create.
A large number of nuclear weapons quickly many sources now estimate they've got enough.
Low enriched uranium -- ready to get eight nuclear weapons in a matter of a few weeks time this is a very very.
Dangerous circumstance and if we legitimized.
Their progress to date of these negotiations and Zach -- it will be a very serious mistake for the administration.
Eight.
Nuclear weapons in a few weeks time -- US ambassador John Bolton ambassador Bolton thank you so much and next Sunday we'll be talking about what they did or didn't achieve when they start talking on Tuesday.
Thank you Eric thank -- so.
