Now this Fox News weather alert there is no rest for folks wearied of winter weather.

Oklahoma seeing whiteout conditions in the latest blizzard to pummel the central plains.

Officials there are strongly urging people to stay off the roads today.

The massive storm system also has its sights set on the midwest Chicago could see more than six inches of snow by the time it's all over.

Up picking up record amounts of snow -- and -- Texas this time around could be looking at up to 28 inches.

Of snow we already -- blizzard conditions occurring across the panhandle of Texas.

The panhandle of Oklahoma as well and even into areas across -- -- -- starting to pick up some of that heavy snowfall.

Again why expert amounts of over a foot of snow expected across this area but the big problem.

Is -- when you factor in the wind.

You're gonna have white out conditions occurring across this area so blizzard warnings are currently in -- -- expected to continue throughout the afternoon hours.

Winter storm warnings more widespread extending into northern sections.

Of Illinois and Chicago under a winter storm watch because they could be -- over six inches of snow as we head into tomorrow so -- Tomorrow evening many of you heading home from work in Chicago are going to be looking at some pretty.

Dangerous conditions on the roadways otherwise in the southern side of the system we have warm temperatures humid air and that will be firing up those strong thunderstorms.

Across eastern Texas Louisiana very widespread area.

Extending into southern areas of Georgia in the Florida Panhandle tornadoes.

Damaging -- as large hail possible and we're also expecting to see some heavy rain across sections of Georgia -- flooding will be a concern.

Otherwise again over a foot of snow expected from the Texas Panhandle into sections of Missouri so.

A widespread area expecting a lot of snow but John.

The one little bit of good news is that we do have drop conditions across the center of the countries to some of the snow will produce.
