Look the federal government's twice the size it was eleven years ago.

Were -- in almost 4000 dollars per person per year coming out of the federal government.

121000 dollars the average family is on the hook for unfunded liabilities include in excess of three -- Quarters of -- million dollars per family.

And what this what sequestration.

Is it's a terrible way to cut spending I don't disagree without.

But could not cut two and a half percent out of the total budget over a year when it's twice the size it was ten years ago.

Give me a break.

Angry -- was doctor Tom Coburn -- -- senator from the great state of Oklahoma talking to Chris Wallace on FOX News Sunday with Chris Wallace.

About sequestration.

Automatic spending cuts so that cuts the reductions that increases.

That go into effect on Friday starting to sit cash out of federal -- first.

This power plant I -- Chris -- all and so what about it.

I think that were ready to make a pretty bold statement here is that the world may not in fact and on Friday there is a possibility.

That like -- Mayan apocalypse the sequester apocalypse may have been overstated.

But we will examine that we will talk about that -- by the west whenever there's a special hour of power -- today is -- better brace yourself.

We better get ready for a lot more excellence than usual.

We will do that we will talk about who might be running for president when he -- and a lot of them are here in Washington at the white -- today.

We'll talk about that we will have our own Oscars we will have our -- political Oscars here in Washington.

We will talk about.

Who won more awards we will do all of those things with Charles her is a columnist for The Washington Times.

And he is.

Like senator Coburn.

Pleasantly.

Pleasantly rough and we welcome your pleasant roughness here -- -- excited and I think he should run right he could I mean it's he's totally -- Oklahoma State state and he's over 35.

Oh yeah and you know why she went Obama but I think -- We've got to do more than that win Texas he woodlands Texas England West Virginia -- -- you would -- pretty actually.

He might do really well because -- bit because he's -- one of the few people.

He's really eight serious -- -- or don't steal our vehicles are.

We're going to talk about presidential possibilities in the next segment but right now -- Mike Emanuel.

-- -- over they're the Russell rotunda keeping track.

-- wags and and all the good folks over there how we doing brother Manuel.

Well doesn't feel like much is changing Chris yeah -- It feels like people are pretty pessimistic they think that.

In terms of finding -- a logical way of dealing with the sequester -- they seem to think that it's going to hit on Friday and then.

The question is after several weeks when they go to DV continuing resolution to fund the government.

-- they find some way out of the deal or or how does it work.

But bottom line and we heard that Claire McCaskill on FOX News Sunday saying that on for a balanced approach meaning more tax revenue to be included.

We've also heard from people like Mike Rogers -- the house intelligence chairman who would like to see more.

Precision cuts if you will so the second aircraft carrier could go to the Middle East but maybe that EPA guy won't go to his conference somewhere.

God yeah.

Although I have talked to some leading house Republicans who have said that getting the president.

The power to essentially do those -- surgically.

Well a lot of their guys don't think that they like the president's priorities and so they may not be inclined to do so so.

We know that the house Republican leadership late this afternoon will come out and talk before the cameras and undoubtedly try to put some pressure on the senate to act to do something.

And also to call for the president to find -- to.

Cut a small percentage of the overall federal government in a more logical.

Sensible way.

Now might win and Republicans are already -- voters are already working on their continuing resolution language.

That would reflect lower funding levels in the sequestration.

The Wall Street Journal reports that senate Democrats.

Are concerned that if they don't have anything to counter with they don't have a -- they may be forced into taking with the Republicans have offered.

Well that's right and so that's why some Republicans are moving forward think in -- -- this won't be bad if we can set the bar lower lower number this could actually do some of the things that we.

Think we were elected to do by coming to Washington did try to get a handle on spending and so.

Republicans are moving forward as if these sequester is going to take place and and those numbers are the new reality and so then the pressure becomes on the senate Democrats to figure out.

What their next step will be.

They may be winning to a certain degree the PR war when the president rolls out.

The first responders and some of the people saying that these folks are not going to be on the job if these cuts go forward.

But there may be a practical impact of the future funding fights if you will from what comes out this week in terms of the sequester.

Nothing like -- four year -- budget battle to get everybody excited Mike Emanuel we thank you very much for making time for Santa.

So this basically the case brother hurt I -- suppose.

I wrote car.

Don't -- -- to about gun control.

Guns guns at him and you can't you can't let go -- even if you live in DC.

All right I wrote a column the talks about the best actor in a drama.

Barack Obama.

And all of the dramatics that have surrounded the sequestration.

You can have them anyway simply for the -- to follow me on Twitter.

Don't think I've had the cost of it's a credit because today would you think about it reading my immediate reading my -- but I'm gonna Tweety here in -- second for you in an editorial that last.

But basically my point being.

This isn't one crisis this is a crisis that really started in the spring of 2011 and will continue till the spring -- 2015 this is divided government and this is Brock bond isn't gonna do big deal.

Yeah and it's a crisis that began I would actually argue even before that well absolutely gained like sixty I think -- And I think you're exactly bit but -- but Mexican American war was really.

You know we're still we're still.

Long shadows over Bryant exactly -- Zuma but more more more recently it's it's also get through it goes back a little bit further.

Back when you know President Obama and Democrats in congress they ran the whole the whole.

They were everything and that and I and I all and I feel like a broken record is and keep -- -- this but my goodness if they wouldn't it if they.

You saw this coming which they should have seen because everybody.

Saw coming.

You know -- anybody who studies that -- -- the spending and and with the federal government has.

My goodness they they had they controlled the White House and both chambers of congress they could have either cut the way they wanted to cut hole or didn't like cutting.

I've been sending my point if he's -- this is for dramatic.

I was getting.

Thank you -- it.

-- they raised taxes -- -- -- actually come up with the money to -- So that they don't ever had to cut any spending.

They could've done that they could've done without Republicans.

And they could have done it without all of this obstructionism.

For us.

Republicans and things like that but they didn't do it and that's the reason they didn't do it this is politically unpopular and -- and and they didn't wanna pay the price for.

But -- now.

They're faced with that with Republicans in the house who refuse to go along with this idea of taking even more money from hard working Americans.

And and and -- with that with that option.

Vs the option of actually finding cuts they would rather just complain and blame Republicans for refusing to allow them to.

But the -- that is the truth is if you really keynesian if you really believe that the way to.

Supercharged economy -- -- government spending.

You know probably has done about wage and consistency and -- but quite yes Chrysler -- just making sure they know how would you -- I I just don't say I just today it I don't use words that you said in his -- -- -- but the Indians and I don't I know enough to know I'm not want them you're not you're definitely not one of them now okay so where the Keyes is that Alan Keyes.

Yes that's -- you are you are possibly one of them yet.

For the keynesian and they believe that any government spending even if wasteful.

It is good in the sense that it it.

Puts that money out into the economy.

And that.

And it -- it rewards.

Those that deserve at least reward as opposed to -- I guess this is the -- -- -- -- that's looking at a different which is the -- and if you make money.

The government shouldn't stand between you and the person that you're making money from -- and and gobble up that money and then steal that money.

Unless there is a very very very specific and high and important purposeful.

-- -- that wants to know if it's casual Friday already know this is -- is not this he's not being as casual Monday being pro American.

All right we're gonna take a quick break but when we come back.

We will talk about a possible presidential candidates Tom Coburn included.

But others that mr.

Berger thanks could -- currencies the ET -- we'll talk about that and more when we come back -- Iraq.

And that is the executive mansion.

The federal government also known as the White House.

And this is -- welcome back -- look inside the White House today President Obama -- meeting with talking to governors the -- of the various dates of the several states who were in town.

For the annual meeting of the National Governors Association they had lunch with the president today he told them stuff.

Told them that the sequester is bad and things like that.

But while some of those guys are in -- they're probably wondering what it would be like if they were the host instead of the guest.

So what about some potential candidates for 2016 were intent on this weekend -- -- over the weekend and and today Charles hurt is willing to engage.

In this sort of rank speculation because it's fun.

But.

The here's the deal.

This war the Democrats.

All of their -- -- Hillary Clinton were probably there in the room yet.

Martin O'Malley governor of Maryland you had Andrew Cuomo governor of new York and Joseph Biden.

Are all.

It's true.

Want.

-- I love the idea of Joseph Biden right.

I think -- -- love the idea of Joseph Biden I would love to cover that would that be are we.

He and -- absolutely but -- but it it's it but it's kind of funny.

-- the idea that people keep asking him -- that this has become.

A very serious issue.

So yeah.

Parts split from reality right -- which is why you and I enjoyed front and in our sadistic way but they're -- -- those those who is anybody else on the -- -- other than O'Malley Clinton.

I don't yet from New York -- his or somebody else out there.

I think that there are a number of different contenders but I think that but I don't get that any of them matter because there's so far.

Down get to get down the total that there obviously Hillary is the number one if for health is I didn't see and also if she actually would go along with -- I think it is to speak totally honestly.

I think it's.

That's -- kind of a stretch to think that she is going to this point.

Go along with it but I think I look and I think that just the Democrats -- cry if it -- very upset.

Yeah.

But it takes a lot of an enormous amount of energy it takes an enormous amount of.

Fortitude that she is as he put forth in the past.

And come up short.

And -- and she was a -- and she was a sure thing.

She it's whatever was five years is a sure thing Arenas that are built that there was no doubt about it whatsoever and I'm sure in the back her -- she's like a -- sure thing again particularly Florida.

And so as your president is -- Yeah but also she's a political animal maybe she I think she probably would enjoy watching Joseph Biden run as much as you and I was well it is it is by -- you have to -- this you have to give the upper hand to.

He -- me if I were to -- all you can run Cuomo but this put this is part of what's pushing the Democrats the left.

Talking about.

Talk about this that with a straight face like like Andrew Cuomo is that he is a viable choice of the huge -- New York used to be a giant state it's still pretty good.

-- get a like Yankee from the northeast I just don't see that like appealing that he's -- -- gotten it yet.

But that's like man of the -- -- yeah -- special anymore that's.

The government the Italian Americans have never had a president -- that's a true fact.

He but I mean c'mon we've -- -- that.

Memo in -- -- yeah I disagree with that would have to say the judicial branch you know pretty well locked up in court.

It's obviously it's not what that is listed in mean could've been as low -- and -- -- seventy cholesterol counts -- what's.

Well obviously he has the high cholesterol.

Count aggravated the highest girth of all New Jersey.

Governor but but I -- -- present its.

4%.

Or hurricane -- if he got to blame in the right places and -- -- Romney's I'm.

And I understand it around because that -- anything that -- but I mean my goodness.

Republican governor of New Jersey and he -- just.

Off the charts.

But I would believe that I would see him as being more palatable just because it goes sort of against the ruling on the Democrats -- -- opened up for a little while ago.

Does it -- -- back.

-- article you are any -- artists socially socially moderate.

That's Obama hugging guys going to use these.

Endorsing is just storm through Super Tuesday endorsing the -- -- -- -- -- -- prime.

I can see that -- For the nomination I'm talking about as ever before running and -- -- general I would see that before I would -- Andrew Cuomo.

Grabbing people's doesn't do any good news you are upset about it they're like admitted yeah I am upset and -- -- -- and win Pennsylvania.

What about the Republicans.

So you've got now and but what lies in the Democrats in the form about.

What is moving though people -- Cuomo and O'Malley and Biden to the left rally.

He's the Maryland is like a hugely democratic noting report.

Luxury but it plays and he -- an Irish hand these -- Biden now locally this.

-- is shooting is he's a double barrel rattled -- How -- two people if I'm.

Now rather than his cooler weather pushing Democrats laughter exhibit American does he -- in -- but.

-- What Democrats are doing now they're exam has something to do with getting ready for these primaries and -- liberal base right Cuomo's thinking about a national audience of Democrats when he does the -- -- right.

Yeah but yeah I guess but I -- yeah I'm surety it and that's correct but.

But it's -- good but it's a big loser.

Long term I mean even.

You know Obama when he when he talked river we talk down about guns my -- It during the primary if he had to take.

Two or three weeks to spend -- and yeah.

I think -- and and and and it was a disaster story curry it was and not super helpful announcement -- yeah.

-- little bit of fun and there are a lot of other places it that are important to two Democrats where that sort of thing just it's just it's just one of those totally clueless things.

Where where especially.

You know liberals.

Northeast liberals but with -- where Washington just has no.

Did as a total disconnect with the real America about.

About people that happens liking their freedom in the form of governance.

-- right.

So it.

It is a trends in by the way you were accepted it was the onion that is identified.

That it was a -- -- watching it watching trans am.

Gave me the if he had he has it was classic words with -- with the Phoenix right there Odom Peter -- Burt Reynolds popular -- that -- OK and Lauren are you prepared Internet to have your bounds of good taste -- -- Further still -- is because when we come back we're going to have our own Oscars mr.

hurt and I right here are going to do that.

And talk about what political -- might have been given out in Washington.

Instead of Los Angeles last night.

-- -- if you have any suggestions whether to send the men and will laugh even the last all the harder.

So get ready for some good time.

Just in cigarette -- live from the White House the first lady of the United States.

Michelle Obama.

And those star struck stargazers were.

These celebrities who were at the where they have that at Grauman's Chinese Theatre where they have it out in Hollywood that they have the Oscars last night and they had a special surprise for Michelle Obama.

The first lady of the United States who appears there was some.

For some reason people from the armed forces.

And this.

And the flowers I don't know -- -- -- for birdie instruments on the White House exit -- I don't know what they have to do that I don't I went I don't.

Hopefully they've got a good and she's got a better on the horizon and used to by now with what you -- guys I guys my people have guns there's but it figures -- alcohol old Charlie hurt.

The Washington Times is with -- still in -- has agreed to -- us.

Here's what I sort of long is the White House can play that game which about about playing in Hollywood and at what point do do do do are you kidding doesn't really.

What do you mean how long ago I did that get I get that but.

But at some point.

People -- their hands and our.

It merited it but what was it that bonds jumping the shark I think there's no throwing up Jenkins jumping the Charles Atlas of yes it was and after those are happy -- -- -- -- at some.

The Obama has jumped the -- with all -- -- so they don't think Ayers -- some of that stuff I don't have papers today to shuffle.

People of celebrities to go crazy about celebs you can keep going on Rachael Ray and Ellen DeGeneres and you wouldn't you want.

And nobody cares and it's fine I don't know you're getting in the way over.

-- -- place we're trying to have -- event here so we decided we hear it in power play decided that.

We should have -- of our own.

On par with the Oscars in terms of giving out some giving -- some prizes in politics.

We'll start out with one of my favorites that is best cost him.

Best cost him.

Now this was starting with this -- because it's the easiest won a best -- goes to Frederica Wilson and democratic congresswoman from Florida who never goes anywhere without a giant cowboy hat on.

Preferably this red sparkly one that is for the more formal occasions.

Congressman Wilson who has been on this telecast.

Knows she explained to us that you have to stand out somehow in Washington gives -- a sparkly red cowboy hat will always have you stand out.

I go Barney Frank received for sure of that house floor with the -- with this language that was -- grows off.

-- okay well this is the difference between you and family telecast.

OK how about best supporting actors best supporting actor Jimmy nominees for best supporting actor you know I I -- and the envelope to Joseph Biden.

Because he gets to support yeah he's just so fantastic and no matter how bad the White House does -- -- always -- divides it.

He's -- -- -- -- -- Linda -- with you don't want anything to happen this is a guy and our hope is to keep jogging this yeah smoke it's because if I'm gone that's that's -- true effort.

-- the academy that power play academy of arts and sciences went.

A tie it was a tie I think Rick Perry Newt Gingrich Herman Cain Rick Santorum and Michelle Bachmann and it's tied for best supporting actor because obviously.

Mitt Romney if any of them had been able to get it together for more than about.

48 hours.

Mitt Romney would have lost the Republican nomination just because -- All of them led him at one point or another.

And he even would literally literally they all those people let him at one point or another up to it but it -- Herman Cain -- -- Herman -- and the whole thing that with the former employees and -- -- and people like the fourth anyway.

Garrett just did not Romney.

So good excuse Cory -- and that was Fox News contributor I mean I'm trying to get about power play because he is good he has the 999 that you moment I.

I have a new -- -- by the way what's that nine and a via its isn't it it's Florida it's one that's culturally and -- because -- still sort.

He's he's varies throughout your kid that's strong OK how about best actor in a comedy American people.

Little screwed everything that happened and it's kind of -- horror.

Horror horror comedy be like scream the gays -- be this good.

Yeah okay well -- power play tentative arts and sciences -- arts and sciences went with vice president Joseph Biden.

As the -- that if this could actually -- show -- serialized the local fight you and -- just the union leadership it would be Cuba -- yet well.

Shouldn't be on a couple of close.

What -- We have days serious -- -- rule on the show that we use and hours and not like to talk about that.

I know people from east region elect Republicans vote.

OK best actor in a drama.

Who is the best actor and you can't be Obama that is that is not as Barack Obama as he was -- after -- if.

And Richard the third and Richard the third well he definitely is good at making things sound dramatic combat and it helps him doesn't.

-- -- -- -- William Harris who ran this did that lesbians in the Republican Party they can't they can't rub close together again yeah they're like.

They it's.

It just so.

And yet they're they're doing like a mayberry RFD episode and this guy's this guy's doing Richard three.

-- -- stuff that's not an -- check out.

In fact I think they should you sort of go into remission.

For us three years is just an eighteen months -- they just need to take eighteen months all this government terms yet.

Yet well we have a video with a nightmare but it's not like -- -- the senate and then those -- -- little bit -- agents.

Cherokee that are -- is sour is our down around about this best best special effects Washington and -- -- -- -- -- Paul Ron Paul run is what the academy came up with.

Do Ross Perot is the -- -- -- -- -- for a always holding up something always has chart and you know what.

Nobody can see it nobody really knows -- to -- and -- -- -- -- the lines I've got all these sweetly jubilee lines -- the place and it was funny would have.

Happened when Romney picked him that he can explain it and -- people if I was like no hint it's no one can explain this stuff because by the time you've.

You've said the word 1000000000018.

Time.

Anybody including you and me it just glaze over like -- -- it's all know there's no numbers and when they say that I hear keynesian.

Kenzie -- can keep it here.

Authorities thought you'd -- that's -- your.

All right this -- mean.
