Now for the top story tonight let's -- had -- Marco Rubio from Washington senator closely watching the budget travesty unfold.

At this -- -- many believe the automatic cuts will kick in on Friday do you believe that.

I do I do I do believe -- happen on Friday and -- bill let's be -- -- the goal here is to the minute that the solution all the problems rapid dynamic economic growth.

But we can't have -- dynamic economic growth that we don't bring our budget problems here under control this is not the best way to do it.

But it's better than raising taxes is an alternative and it's better than doing nothing so.

The ideal way to do this is to -- and reform Medicare is that's those -- the programs that are driving a long time that.

But the president's decided isn't wanna do that so there's going -- sequester will kick in on Friday.

OK but but here's what I'm worried about.

That'd be -- is telling me that I'll I'll probably not going to be able to get on an airplane.

That illegal aliens are gonna -- across the border -- we're not gonna have anybody down there.

That our global warming is -- overwhelm us.

You know I mean the scare tactics and I think this is in concert that the president.

His administration in the press are putting together are designed to make Americans think that you guys are Republicans.

Are causing the destruction of America how -- got -- -- that.

Well first of all this is the president's idea he actually came up with us this is something that he suggested that his office suggested.

When they were talking about this back in the summer of 2011 number two is -- certainly going to be some impacts the governmental services.

But I think what's being put out there is being exaggerated for political purposes there's zero doubt about that.

And I think this idea of somehow making the cuts as painful as possible in essence focusing them on those programs that most impact people.

As a way to create outrage is -- time tested tactic that's used all the time it.

The state level when people for example threatened to cut some program -- another so look I think the bottom line is yeah this is not the best way to do it.

But we're not gonna walk away from this in exchange for tax increases I think the house of everything my -- -- plans to do this.

Tom I think you guys are gonna have to expect by you guys -- mean the Republican Party now that the people of the United States he certainly aren't locked in they don't know what sequester means an -- paying attention.

They're gonna blame the -- for whatever inconvenience might unfold.

And I don't know whether you guys are going to be able to countered that.

Well I think there's the Bob what people need to understand is that that is nothing compared to what's gonna happen to this country.

-- we don't begin to bring our fiscal house in order and grow our economy dynamically I mean those cuts those things that people are gonna face.

Is nothing compared to what this nation's going to face it we continue to spend a trillion dollars a year more than we take him.

500 that -- that I don't all the folks there.

I don't think if I don't know if the folks are locked in -- -- I got to take a drink the water here.

Down -- -- -- Now we are you surprised that you got hammered over Watergate we took a little water were you surprised the press.

Use that to kind of diminishing a little bit.

Well I don't know once I -- I think.

You know look I think everyday people that watch that you know normal people in the everyday world they look at that say what's the big deal people that don't like you won't harp on it certainly look I think it.

It is what it is I mean that's the state of political coverage today in America I knew that when I got involved in politics and service.

You make the best of it I thought I had a pretty important message delivered and -- a lot of people heard it and and liked it and so we'll continue to work on the things that matter and I.

I don't know worked here advantage.

It might have you -- your -- -- beat me making people.

Feel sympathy toward you because it was unfair what they tried to do with it now now.

I would do this for a Democrat if that Democrat were unfairly hammered for I've taken a glass of water eating a tuna sandwich whatever.

I would do the same thing.

But I got I'm gonna give -- TV advice I'll cash I've been in this business for 36 years so I know a little bit about.

Whenever you're on television particularly live television we can -- and do it again.

You've got to tell the folks everything everything.

-- when you were giving that speech and I understand you had given a speech in Spanish.

Before that so you obviously were below the -- in his -- was -- damage.

When you wanted to take you water you just -- -- folks that.

You just say excuse me I -- -- look a little parts here I got to get a drink a war I'll be right back.

You smile.

You you take your little water which should be closer to you by the way and the pin and it would have far away got a slap around all of that.

And then you take a -- he smiled again -- go on that was good.

And now when you go back.

That's what's called performing and you know it was a brilliant performer doing you know who -- who.

Barack Obama.

He's got everything is he on the teleprompter he's got -- sip of water I mean everything -- And that's the way that's the -- we -- it.

But good advice I don't anticipate doing that again in the future but -- I get a chance that's good advice and I'll take it.

Just me just be natural -- whatever is on your mind.

Whatever is go one time.

-- people want authenticity.

Senator.

That's what -- -- advice.

Apps and it you can fake that you this guy's equipment yet or really mom's car it's a really long strides -- Whatever you need.

Hey senator we're always appreciate you coming on the program -- hope that the carnage in Washington is kept to a minimum and we appreciate -- thank next how to write better.
