Shouldn't he be making these cots as painless as possible because right now he's making him sound pretty painful.

Well not -- we changed the way it is sequestered used to go into effect it was across the board.

There was not very little lead way that we should come together if we can't get a big deal.

Which puts our financial house in order then we should at least.

Be smarter about how this is simply implement as far as the -- sequestering.

And that would be giving flexibility to both the department of defense and to the non defense so that they can make the cuts less draconian.

And that would be a smarter way I'm hoping we can were working very hard across the -- with my friends on the Republican side and if we if we can't get a big deal that we think that we can put that together that needs to be done.

The congressman he does sound as the president has gone out on his road showed it does sound what is if he's trying to highlight cuts.

For maximum pain for political -- with a lot of guys on your side of the aisle say that.

I'll certainly gets frustrating anytime somebody tries to politicize all these various cuts because these cuts will hurt her and -- Some areas that we've seen cuts -- gone too far especially.

-- what we're both concerned veterans.

Making sure there are veterans benefits are there and we've got more veterans returning home than ever so we need to provide flexibility.

-- we want to see both parties come together and and certainly would love to see the president Susan leadership.

And -- people in the bowl parties together.

Okay let's not talk about something else very important via veterans' jobs caucus today and are you guys are reliant you're right senator.

Right below last year two years as senator Mark Kirk from Illinois and myself.

Got together marks and reserves and we start looking at the high unemployment rates of out of our veterans.

And people are talking about they wanna help vets and we're so concerned about -- -- if you really wanna help of that car that so that's how the hiring that program came on and Jeff.

Comes -- -- came on and your co -- in the house side -- this is bipartisan bicameral.

You have 844000.

Unemployed that's.

He gets high unemployment as far as eighteen to 24 year olds across the board 31% unemployment.

If it's just the women -- veterans that's 55%.

And then basically across the board since 9/11 11%.

Unemployed -- that's higher than national average we want to do something about that -- that we are and we hope that people would join our program.

And congress would tell us about that.

That program where businesses wind up putting a sign in their window.

A very important program I hire -- -- normally we doing that our offices but we want to encourage businesses across the nation to do that very same thing as they grow as they expand.

We want to make sure at first priority goes to our veterans and we're actually also reaching out not only to our business community but we're working with the department -- defense.

So that the bill that we passed last year gets the skilled labor that we have within the military certified so they can take those jobs immediately without going through expensive retraining.

So we're really doing a service to the business community as well as helping our veterans get a job -- the same time.
