-- six hours till march 1 and the sequester hits so is Washington going to do anything about it.

Another of these so called budget cuts are necessary.

The impacts.

Sequester will be.

Onerous and severe.

None of this panic is necessarily.

You're gonna see a slowdown and our economy and national -- services that'll be the way it is not even going to be felt in reality.

Within a matter of weeks we feel whose -- Not -- that I have annoyed at the president lining up local police officers and saying their jobs we lost.

When everybody knows there their salaries are paid by local taxes and I find it fascinating that they're trying to blame each other forward.

They all voted for it will be facing.

It's not you know movements too much.

You've got a friend -- it is a possibility of the campaign mode he's devastated plus will be.

You can work that feel great way to save somebody put it back there right now because they -- -- -- -- -- make clear yesterday the agency released the low risk non criminal detainees under a less expensive form of monitor.

To ensure -- levels stayed within prices overall budget even before this cluster has gone into effect he's released thousands.

Up -- field imprisoned criminals.

It's absurd to think that the government can not get.

A little more than -- -- reduction defendants.

When every working American had to figure out how to make do with -- -- -- left but their -- -- -- -- I've never in my -- not -- a president who has escaped any accountability for four years until this guy came along.

And tonight former country Allen west says President Obama needs your help with the sequester.

He tweets call email -- the White House would suggestions for cutting 2.4 percent since -- obviously too incompetent to figured out.

Passion west joins us -- -- there.

Good in -- Greta how are you doing.

-- was -- figure called arsenal had any impact and we gonna get the people emailing and calling the White House and if so they don't listen.

I think they will listen because obviously we don't have any leadership come out out of Washington DC.

Let's be very honest Greta I don't know if you still have a sitting there.

But that GAO report that talked about 200 to 300 billion dollars of -- forward -- -- programs in Washington DC so that's a great place to start.

85 billion dollars is not going to effectively shut down the United States government we're not gonna have to -- about.

Meat inspectors -- planes falling off from the sky.

As a matter of fact this week Greta you have been vernacular was testifying up there on Capitol Hill and he talked about because we have such a lackluster recovery.

We're gonna have to continue on with federal stimulus what he really is not telling the American people that.

We're printing money to the tune of 85 billion dollars a month.

So that we can -- a phone mortgage backed security debt and also treasury -- so again the numbers are just not adding up.

And you are starting to see a level of ridiculous in this coming out of Washington DC that -- has served cost American people lot of -- I would the other day or the other week -- was announced that the at Truman at which aircraft carrier would not be deployed to to the Persian gulf because of money because of sequestration.

-- do you -- that that was a legitimate reason my short of cash are we sure to cash -- there.

And our defense.

Absolutely because one of the things you have to understand part of the budget control act.

Was four in 87 billion dollars of cuts to the Department of Defense over the next ten years.

And that's taking care of the fraud the waste and abuse streamline and research and development programs acquisition programs.

Which without a doubt was needed as you noted the first time you had me on was because I file wasteful programs in the DOD budget.

Now you're talking about an additional 45 to 46 billion dollars per year on the department offense and now that's gonna start to hit what is called operation in the maintenance budget.

The door the Clinton years 1000 brigade -- operations officer of Fort Bragg.

We felt those cuts down there because you did not have enough money for repair parts for your equipment.

You did not have enough money for ammunition so you can go out and properly certified and -- your -- thousand artillery officer.

So these things are really going to be felt in the united states military which if you understand the preeminent responsibility the federal government.

Is to provide for the common defense so we can secure the blessings of liberty.

Liberty for the American people it's.

Well I remember you imagine the first time he appeared -- your freshman member of congress.

It was thirty and about 39 dollars of waste in the Pentagon's budget.

And you had a unanimous.

Vote on the Democrats or Republicans -- does nobody want to see at thirty million dollars wasted.

Why can't we do that would all the other incredible waste in this town.

-- But you know -- interest in this say you would think that a guy this or 22 years in the united states military is sitting on the house armed services committee.

He would look at department of defense of the sacred cow on I don't see it that way.

And I want to prove that here's something near and dear to me I have relatives -- still in the military but I know that there are places where we could find savings.

So if we had every single member of congress the end of the house of the senate in their committee of jurisdiction.

Going into exactly what I did I don't think that you have to worry about the extraordinary amount why didn't happen and that we have.

Why I have how's it seems like any everybody -- leadership.

It comes back to leadership Greta and that's the thing that -- -- and that's -- band is lacking.

And that resolute leadership that will tell the American people that we do have a spending problem when you have individuals -- Washington DC in positions of suppose leadership.

There won't even admit that you have to spend a problem.

That's the first thing is kinda like going to alcoholics anonymous.

But I don't I even hear a lot of Republicans champion a particular waste I don't see them going into line by line through these budgets either arena -- and sort of say we have a lot of waste.

But I mean -- what you did was you actually went.

Found the 39 dollars and it was appalled.

Never -- your way 8807 when there's no one the resisted it so I don't get why that hasn't been done by other members now with other budget line by line.

-- -- there are looking and they're listening right now.

In May be they'll stay in Washington DC and they'll decide and their committee of jurisdiction to get a piece of the budget.

Well first of all you got to understand sums up 14100.

Days since we've even had a budget up for Washington DC so that's the first place where we need to start is the house and the senate.

Pass in the budget that everyone can go through line by line and making sure that we get rid of that.

Fraud waste and abuse across all the agencies in Washington DC.

-- At -- US SSA a mentioned senator Mitchell cows and that lasted a month everyone lost 2% in his paycheck because of the increase and pay the women.

Tax cuts -- are a lot people did and we're asking in the sequester the sequestration 2.4 percent cut.

It's about the same.

And we'll NMP investors actually learn to live of that.

Yes it's about the same but really you know which you understand the baseline budgeting it may not even beat that 2.4 percent because you really cutting.

An increase of the the spend in this going to occur so we need to go to a zero based budgeting system that's one of the first things we have to do.

And once again it comes back to leadership.

You know it is very troubling when I see the president and others that are going out and tried to scare and intimidate America people.

That's not what leadership does leadership recognizes that you have a problem.

The -- were viable solutions and they tell the American people that we're gonna get this thing under control so that we can protect the future for our children gradual that's what's most important.

-- -- -- Always a pleasure Greta thank you nice to see a --
