A lot of candidates tonight as we inch closer to the -- deadline President Obama gives us yet another glaring say nobody is absolutely zero interest.

-- avoiding these automatic spending cuts that are set to take effect.

Any only wants to scare you.

The American people now here's why early today the White House announced that the president will meet with the four top congressional leaders this Friday.

But here's my question why wait why not -- -- today why not tomorrow now we all knew this deadline was fast approaching.

But in typical Obama fashion the administration waits until the -- hour to do any thing.

And do you want to know why.

Because it appears the president would rather be hit -- the golf course with Tiger Woods parading around the country.

Bashing Republicans -- Republicans for being evil hearted budget cutters.

Instead of actually rolling up his sleeves governing and trying to prevent that nightmare that he -- it from happening.

-- meanwhile Bob Woodward the man who wrote the definitive book on the sequester and is now slamming President Obama for his handling of the situation.

Is reportedly now being warned I would use the word threatened by the White House.

That he will quote regrets his outspoken us now this comes after Jay Carney accused them of being a liar in response to an op Ed that Woodward wrote.

-- tweeted quote super committee's mandate was not to replace -- -- with spending cuts alone to suggest otherwise is willfully wrong.

But it brittney and this will backfire on the Obama administration they're going after the wrong guy.

And as has been the case for years.

One word say what you will about him is not susceptible to intimidation he knows how to fight back now it's not the White House not -- word is gonna regret.

Doing this and I'll -- the end of the day just another example of arrogance from the administration.

And that may be able to push around -- compliant journalist lap dog media types but I don't think they'll be able to do that to Bob Woodward.

We do have a fear monger for mongering -- president congressman.

What is your reaction to the.

Rhetoric that he's been -- Why is trying to put fear into the American public and that what's amazing to me -- I talk about this this is like a road show president.

He's more interested in keeping the campaign going going around the country and he's got to decide either he wants to be president.

-- political party are you want to be president of the United States and actually lead in the process and work -- some type of solution but that's not what we're getting.

Right now the president says on Friday is gonna meet with the four top congressional leaders that means John Boehner and that means senator Mitch McConnell.

-- -- -- say that it wasn't gonna do that anymore or did I misunderstand.

He said he wasn't -- sit down negotiate I mean the what the president's really doing is asking for a photo op at the last minute.

Remember what we're talking about here though it's 85 billion dollars at a three point six trillion dollar budget.

We borrow.

85 billion dollars every 28 days so we're just talking about less cut less than what we borrow in one month.

Away without incident 1000.

-- because it because some of of the cuts are offset into the next year so you're cutting really in reality lesson once and out of every dollar and he's gonna shut down all the essentials.

It's gonna curve somehow on the military people aren't going to be able to fly and the TSA.

I think a lot of these numbers just go back to 2009.

And I remember America running pretty well in 2009.

And so for the past week and a half or so the president spend releasing criminals even though the sequester is not even happened yet.

That's point number one let me also tell you what Bob Woodward said.

About the president and this had to do with the the Pentagon and an aircraft carrier being deployed in the Persian gulf but surely what he said.

Under the constitution.

The president.

Is commander in chief in the employees the force and so.

We now have the president going out because of this -- piece of paper in this agreement.

I can't do what I need to do.

To protect the country that's -- kinda may have missed that it is a mental long time.

A type of madness of not seen a long time I think he kind of captures the moment.

What does that say about the president releasing criminals not sending out aircraft -- is what do you think he's doing.

And it I think inflame political politics because all he wants to do is take more from the taxpayer and that's a sad part you know.

When he sits there and threatens Bob Woodward his administration that's wrong but think about how many times Bob Woodward had dealt with presidential.

Presidents in the past and what they've threaten them -- before for him to come out.

Woodward and talk about this.

I think this is very big and I think this will even grow into something much more that the American people will be concerned about -- I I've got a question because conservatives like myself but we may want to tell -- friend I keep Allison and I AM may conservative.

-- -- And one that's registered conservative.

I know conservatives are concerned congressman you're in the leadership.

They want to hear from you.

Under no circumstances.

Are taxes going up because the president is insisting on tax increases.

As part of any deal are you going to can you.

Can you tell the American people tonight.

One -- percent certainty that's not gonna happen in this case.

That's not gonna happen now no taxes are coming out of this house I'll tell you that as the majority whip what's more important even for the American people -- -- is.

There's not a need for more taxes for the last forty years the percentage.

Of what revenue came in to GDP has average seventeen point 9%.

Now it's going to go up to nineteen.

In America today we're gonna get more revenues and two point seven trillion that America has ever receipt.

It is not a revenue problem it is a spending problem here and that's what we have to find out but this president can't get over.

The only thing he wants to do just continued to take in the process.

More from taxpayers it seems.

To me that every Republican should be very very simple principles limited government balanced budgets and -- we should they should be against.

Generational theft but is where we're literally how and then open the piggy banks of our kids.

The united in the house if every house Republican as united on those three simple principles.

You have power to stop President Obama.

This is true during this debate during the continuing resolution debate during the budget debate you guys have power.

Can you do you are you confident that all the Republicans are united on -- three principles I -- mention.

I'm very -- we're united in that but I'll just united that we want to fight for that you know -- you're -- you know I had a lot of talks after the end of the last year -- how this.

-- -- India do -- -- the president's his fiscal cliff challenges and where the Republicans -- at.

And I talked about the strategy that united this new house and I think you're seeing it right now from one where we've moved to make sure the senate.

If they don't pass a budget they won't get paid.

We're now sitting with a strong that would -- to sequester.

And now we're gonna produce a budget that balances in ten years that is something fundamentally different that goes to the core of what Republican and all Americans believe all right I.

Think the only thing I would suggest humbly is I think Republicans need message disciplined.

Everybody -- Republican -- a different message you guys need to be on the same page because the president is now trying to inflict the maximum amount of pain.

On the American people an inconvenience to say -- those Republicans are nasty budget cutters that want dirty air and water and he children and -- grandma.

We can always -- our message but the one thing you could say that we're -- that is the policy.

The policy is a very good at what we're moving forward -- whoever would think the president would wanna inflict maximum pain on the American people to make a political point.

Beyond my lifetime.

Gonna -- congressman we're going to be watching closely and we hope you all stand strong united thank you.
