But today she's playing a different role along with our own Gretchen Carlson.

Linda gray and I were in Washington DC a couple of years ago -- they had a meals for moms meals on wheels -- the program.

And I became aware of the shocking statistics of how many seniors are going hungry every night when -- go to -- I mean it's.

In America this is amazing to me.

And once I found that out -- -- have to do something about it what can they do.

And -- she became the spokesperson.

Four and -- -- and I used to be it's a spin off basically from the meals on wheels foundation which is now doing what it can to help these seniors.

Not go to bed hungry I mean as you say -- the stats are amazing.

The top ten states I think Mississippi has the highest -- of seniors facing hungry 21 point 53%.

It's gone up since the recession here in the states right here.

My own personal experience was just that luckily I grew up with great role models with my parents who believed in volunteering and giving back a lot and I did a lot of work with the meals -- -- myself.

And that's how I got involved with this organization.

Also being honored tonight is.

And for her efforts as well you are they official spokesperson now so what are you going around the country telling them.

Well we have to get involved we can't.

Hope somebody I hope to people were taking care of it I assumed in the government was involved I assumed everybody was fed and that's not true.
