The US senate will not vote on president Obama's pick to head up the CIA not until next week.

That's the word from senate leaders but in the meantime the White House is facing new bipartisan opposition over -- very controversial drone program.

Case in point the Kentucky Republican senator Rand Paul says he will work to block the confirmation of president Obama's nominee John Brennan.

Until the White House explains its policy but potentially droning people inside.
