-- -- just hours away 85 billion dollars automatic cuts to borrow out really slowed spending are gonna take effect and noted Washington can agree on how to slow that spending to avoid sequester.

Well here's one place they might have started.

A new GAO report showing the Justice Department spent eleven point four million of your tax money.

To fly the attorney general and FBI director on luxury jets and get -- a lot of that jet -- was not for counterterrorism missions but for personal travel.

In BC news political director Rick I'm going to that I shouldn't gradually branded title of work recognized thanks.

Some of this was.

Work related travel but suddenly it wasn't so what.

So what's the -- that's let's listen since 9/11 whenever the FBI director or the attorney general travel -- the travel on McDonough -- government jackets did make sure they have the communication equipment they don't buy a ticket on American Airlines like the rest of us.

-- but when they travel for personal reasons the eight -- use the same means of transportation.

This bill adds up over time some more than eleven million dollars over five years for personal travel they reimburse the government but they get to pay.

The going commercial rate as opposed to what the actual cost is the taxpayers so this does add up.

-- -- -- -- gulfstream G five that -- -- that to new York and costs what about 151000 dollars a figure read a story to fly.

And and -- -- what the attorney general would pay is like whatever costs in the US air couple hundred bucks.

Came to make matters even worse they store these airplanes at an undisclosed military location.

They have to fly them international airport today and pick up the passengers of the attorney general or the FBI direct input and your feelings yeah generous exactly and this is C one of those classic examples of it no one can look at this objectively and say this makes sense but there's a law there -- there's people that it did -- get back that long go through without law.

And it ends up adding up to just actually really silly government expenditures -- be easy things the cut.

But it's among those things that that aren't even being discussed right now this is not the first -- senator Grassley is even highlighted as he does this.

Every couple years because it is it's it's really crazy that we still spend money on this guy and this is not just the -- administration but the predecessor have President Bush 43 there but attorney general and director of we're also doing the same thing.

So -- that's right it's even hard to -- hard to fault attorney general.

A holder of -- for that reason because this is the policy and that is still and they tell what to do -- -- but again they -- highlights again what how how silly this whole -- debate is because.

Rather than taking the easy stuff the stuff that you know you can cut and no one is going to feel it and say you know what maybe we're gonna meet the guy drive out to the -- and.

-- -- -- It is a couple of minutes more credit -- easy things like that we're gonna continue to do really kind of senseless government expenditure I guess this from those sort of a rose a fact that when not eleven half we never want to be out -- the director of the FBI or the attorney general so a lot of money spent two point in this great communication system.

Another time has gone by -- -- we can rethink this we're not that's right it is that's exactly right and -- becomes mindless in this and they became these these essential government personnel that need to be -- all the time.

And no one is saying that the attorney -- FBI director can't go on personal trips they can't go home for the weekend.

-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- You have this this awful meal that was cooked up by Democrats and Republicans it is disgusting as possible.

And it's now being served for dinner it was never supposed to happen at all and now is going to law.

-- thought you know that veto and they continued -- -- that is sort of so sort of holding Elena.

And they had the super committee that was in November of a year ago was supposed to solve the problem and then I didn't solve the problem they didn't go back and try to solve the problem -- a whole year pass again and you know this is -- -- no sympathy for the -- conscious of politicians say and it's a bit the American people take it out and did they did it end in both sides -- equally that was a hole and nothing else -- -- -- may have hated it but they've done nothing for a year and a half times.

That plan -- -- -- -- what others think the senate has now adjourned for the day even -- sequestration is tomorrow they're going on the back on mother had endless -- finally made at the White House tomorrow.

-- brother and it Rick thank you thanks for us coming --
