One place that Americans are being told to certainly expect changes is it airports across the country.
From passenger screening to customs processing in air traffic control the administration says the consequences will be dire.
Extensive delays canceled flights in those long security -- well they're gonna get even longer but Republicans say.
The most of this amounts to nothing more than scare tactics so we came here to Reagan national airport to find out how travelers are dealing with the names.
-- I really think we phased by big government sequester I don't think it's really mean much of anything in the long run.

Parents that do as well did you -- to come any earlier Vick has it's up to delays I -- her I didn't and those -- a bit of a state.
They don't suck on their motive as of -- the morning is a cult.

-- they say that because of budget cuts they're gonna kind of console -- agencies you have longer delays and I heard about it and you know -- it is I think they -- do away with all the security.
There you -- perhaps an idea for cattle -- lawmaker.
We reached out to the TSA that no one was available for comment instead they -- this this statement.
Saying if sequestration goes into effect TSA will put in place a hiring freeze which will result in up to an additional 1000 TSO vacancies.
By Memorial Day weekend.

We expected during busy travel periods -- times exceeding thirty to forty minutes could double in nearly all of the major airports.
