Well thank you for having me how -- tell me how does not happen.

It all happen through the California disabled veterans business alliance.

I met mr.

-- through them.

And if I was introduced to him as a disabled veteran baseball player and he's thinking at a baseball minds that yes sir -- can.

And he said you're gonna come on around trap for the Dodgers.

They say that they weren't gonna give you any special dispensation -- no passes -- thing that you had to play just like everybody else.

Yes yes and they've made that very clear -- IE I understood and I agreed that there was no preferential treatment.

And it was just me out there doing my own thing.

So.

Tell me any of the thoughts that ran through your head like you are out there -- he wanted to be your best job did you ever think that that would possibly happen especially after -- separate.

I asked for your country.

I honestly didn't think it would happen.

And so yesterday was a dream come true and not just as the child -- name but as a leader.

With the the disabled veterans around the nation.

Through the various organizations that have been a part.

And that I am currently a part that sports.

And Achilles freedom team and now bull baseball what might contain.

And so yesterday.

I was just out there and I was little nervous and I told myself that hey I survived -- so I can come out here and play baseball and this is no different.

You even through 49 -- surgeries -- fifty surgeries after.

Battle that you -- in.

How are you did you feel any physical limitation -- and it is a prosthetic such that it gives you a chance to be able to do something like this was a dream come true.

Yes not well I mean there was no limitations that -- placed a myself a lot of people tried to place limitations on me.

Buy it but after eight months of recovery I decided that it was time -- amputate my legs so I could improve my quality of life and so the amputation was my decision and it was my decision to get up and continue moving on with the good life.

What a -- of about bet sports because this is on their organization that -- with does that are you finding that for our veterans that are coming back and transitioning back in the either civilian life or are now based back here -- the United States is sports something that they.

Missed while they were overseas and they decided to come back and try to.

Do something that.

Gets them physically out there and that helps to clear the mind.

Yes.

I mean everybody thinks of their favorite teams while they're deployed -- I.

I missed a little bit the the Cleveland Indians baseball season when I've employed and and I -- alien and -- Yes yes -- -- now I'm a big fan of the Dodgers and what they're doing.

That everybody talks about their sports and -- childhood dreams and playing college sports and whatnot.

Me and so now this offers an opportunity for everybody to come back -- they have physical disability or.

And any other sort of disability and so now we are out there and we're letting everybody pursue their dreams and get back out on the -- their core congratulating -- Congratulations thank you -- best of luck and thank you for your service and thank you.
