A lot of dancing you say Republicans this -- -- -- Democrat -- Republican issue and a Republican -- it's a Democrat and Republican issue because.
We all voted for a passed by a majority the president -- we all voted for a majority of us.
And it's going forward and since then yes there are going to be cuts that we have the tools to move forward to step back from that.
When you have them and the house and senate to -- in fairness that the Republicans were the ones who insisted on it being purely spending cuts.
Well bottom line is we're in a sixteen point five trillion dollar national debt at what point do we get our fiscal and financial house in order -- SharePoint but I just saying that it -- -- the spending cuts hurt I think -- we have a president -- committed Democrats voting for that this sequestration and sequestration bill.
When it came up what it was it was it passed it went forward.
There were no problems at the select committee they -- gonna go do their jobs -- not gonna have those draconian that's what's been a year and a half.
They've known about his typically Washington speak in Washington style as you all know it way to the very last second.
Up against the wall -- if you put a great -- on a -- you don't vote for you hate America well.

Chuck let's look at the big picture and -- it hasn't been Friday.
But since August of 2011 when the budget control act was passed to avoid that the debt limit -- the default.
This government that it congress Washington dysfunctional Washington house -- or as.
Institute at three and a half trillion dollars in deficit reduction in tax increases and -- spending cuts the good news is.
You know that is a significant amount the bad news is that they really haven't even begun to address.
The main drivers of that that which of course are the entitlements like Medicare and Social Security.
Big picture I mean is that it is the glass half full of a glass half empty in terms of -- we have dealt.
As ugly as it spins with the bat.
Well I think you know sometimes.
They're the sort of disruption.
Of of a policy didn't wanna have -- that was second best.
Can be fruitful in the in the sense of illustrating -- the cost of not dealing with the main issue.
Right and may be one benefit of going through sequestration was -- will be huge.
To show everyone know there really isn't an easy painless alternative to coping with entitlements and tax reform.
That's on my optimistic -- that's how I look at this situation.

And so now the Democrats immediately seem like about five or 10% more committed to an untouchable Medicare and Medicaid and that's a bit of a that's a bit of a problem.
But perhaps if we do go through a little over -- not a fatal one not an apocalypse but a little wrenching period on sequestration.
It'll look instill some sense that people.

Between the end of the show and now about the -- the situation in the house among house Republicans what's your sense of and there's a lot of unhappiness salute -- -- leadership it's they have speaker Boehner and leader cantor of a tough job so maybe the unhappiness is unfair.
But I Israel and more real I mean more vehement against -- were strongly felt that I would expect that and how much I love.

And house Republicans passed nothing marked up no legislation and they they their talking point is we pass something last year.

But at the end of the day the Republicans didn't pass -- they're alternative and -- they are accepting defense cuts we talked a little bit earlier about the real world effects I do think.
But -- a pretty good now we're promised to cover rough week or two with some PR mistakes.
If this -- -- what you can shuffle money around defensively orbit did it really does look like civilian employees -- -- something like a fifteen to 20% pay cut.

Policy problems so like what you were just talking about other sort of just taking it out on people.
Not that it -- a don't deserve it but it also isn't even addressing the problem assist us to be deficit reduction and they're not touching entitlements switcher.
Almost 60% of our budget I you know so that they're they're ignoring the thing that they need to do and then doing his political.

It's not gonna solve the problem.
