Marking its tenth straight day -- positive territory.
This is not happened since 1996 it's also the eighth day in a row.
Finishing with a record close.
Putting this into perspective now for you the Dow has only had three longer winning streaks and its entire history of a 120 years.
It was also a good day for the S&P which jumped nine points to close just two points below its own record high and the NASDAQ rose fourteen.
Fox Business Network as well slide from her own studio right now her -- just wrapped up Gerri what is behind today's rise and an overall the streak in general.
Well Harris you know it's fascinating to watch this stock market take off today the news was that filing for unemployment benefits for the third week -- hero.
Those filings actually fell and that is good news.

So you're sitting at home but you're not some big time -- you're just watching your retirement funds is now a good time to put money into -- app after -- Well I have to tell -- -- the people who were talking to say we could have some kind of retrenchment.
Two to 5% may be more on the big board.
On the Dow stocks.
And that means that's an opportunity for people to get back -- if we do have a pullback that's what I would wait for but I have to tell yet if you've got a long time horizon.
-- -- -- wanna make sure they're gonna find your retirement with investments that last over a lifetime.
