It's something here -- if you are kinda notice a pattern here.
My goal is not to chase.
A balanced budget just for the sake of balance.
I want -- to be on a path.
Two balance the budget in the number of decades you can't do it in one decade that if you what we have been through.
-- -- A number of its.
-- I was checking the weather forecasts and I was looking at when hell freezes over.
And that's when we're gonna balance the budget according this is the clearest sign I've seen yet that is not a big priority.
It's obviously is not now when you're spending that kind of money they're spending and -- -- the deficit from nine trillion to nearly 171000000000004.
Years.
When they were Boston bush is chops.
Five years ago about having -- nine.
Trillion dollar deficit and saying it was unpatriotic.
But they have no intention of slowing down spending -- spending -- power and power is the ability to give people things and let me be clear I'm not talking about.
Poor people.
You know that's the big fallacy Republicans need to do a better job of saying -- -- I think they unfortunately believe they should.
Give the big banks a bunch of money and give.
The brokerage houses -- -- -- when we're student 83 billion dollars a year to prop up the biggest banks in the country.
It's not just food stamps it's Kallis -- and and that's something Republicans need to be more clear about and be consistent.
So you would not be -- -- -- that.
No venture a commercial enterprise and I just -- -- and it would if they can't make candidate while.
I think why should this government subsidized Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for.
I missed it during the break about what appears to me as an obviously of what's -- on -- Republican Party as a bit of a civil war.
And am -- civil about it right and I'm wondering.
John McCain dismissed it senator crews and to do this visit but -- definitely getting a feeling about what's gone.
Well I think that anytime you lose an election there's a lot of finger pointing to go on some of that is the result but there's also some deep philosophical differences within the party.
And it splits over everything from how big government should be how soon should we reduce the deficit.
How do we deal with Medicare and some of the things that I just mentioned issues like.
Should the government.
Get involved in picking winners and losers in the marketplace whether it's the TARP bill -- and -- runners were kind of alone out there.
Opposed to that.
But those are issues that sometimes underscore deep.
Convictions on the part of people as well as some of -- -- Was shooting themselves and and I brought this up with Senator McCain earlier I think we have -- commenting on this sort of going after crews are going after Rand -- this is my job.
Pain in an interview I said that senator -- and senator crews were whacko birds that was.
Inappropriate and I apologize to them for saying that because I respect them both I respect what they stand -- what they believe him.
Well I appreciate senator McCain's graciousness and saying that.
On the substance if it makes us whacko birds to stand for liberty to stand for the constitution -- -- and then that's a badge of honor I Wear proudly.
-- low risk looking like October.
They -- I think Republicans need to focus not on the differences within the party they need to focus on the differences they have with Democrats.
There's room for differences among the party just don't ask people strong convictions to give up their convictions on strongly pro life don't ask me to give -- up.
You know -- I can't necessarily force you to believe that.
But don't ask me to walk away from it because it's a conviction asked me to contrast my view with the Democrats not contrast -- and another Republican.
-- Thank you very much always by the way you.
