Hi everyone meteorologist -- -- now and a fox extreme weather center -- your forecast today across parts of the midwest.

And also into parts of the Pacific northwest and across -- mineral essential today.

You're looking at another very cold eight Minnesota South Dakota and also North Dakota temperatures well below average.

For some of you were talking temperatures as much as 25 degrees.

Cooler than -- should be at this time of the year 22 for you over -- -- the other problem is.

You factor in the breeze and it feels even colder than that so we've actually been seeing some wind chill temperatures below zero.

Throughout the early morning hours days a bundle up.

Is the official -- -- spring ports David not feeling anything like it across parts of the upper midwest.

Otherwise across parts of the Pacific northwest we're looking at temperatures much more seasonable.

In the fifties over in Seattle Portland also -- Medford 61 degrees for your high temperature in the city.

Ready and -- -- fifties and the sixties across parts of the northern Rockies we have a brand new storm system and this system is producing areas of rain on the lower elevations.

Mountain snow for the Washington and Oregon cascades -- will be quite significant at times out here.

Mean we're looking anywhere between one to even to beat us now and that really does go for the higher elevations of the mountains out here but you could be looking at some snow.

Down to pass levels -- please drive carefully out here again expecting snow to continue throughout the day today.

Into tomorrow and evening into your Friday some of it's moisture will also make it across parts of Montana Wyoming Idaho.

Today and also into your tomorrow so again looking very unsettled out here eventually some of that snow does make it over into parts of the north central.

As we head into -- -- Thursday and also into your Friday morning so looking at some snow spreading across the region otherwise.
