I Fox News alert on the manhunt that is intensifying now in Colorado.

For the man or woman who may have shot and killed the head of the department of corrections in Colorado Tom Clements 58 years old.

Open to the front door of his home around 830 at night and was shot.

And killed in cold blood it happened in the town of monument Colorado between Denver Colorado Springs.

Very big story this morning good morning everybody once again -- -- Macau -- Good morning I'm Bill Hemmer as of right now authorities say they don't have much to go on other than a possible witness seen exercising outside the time of the shooting.

Good morning people what is the latest here what can you tell us.

Well our investigators as you can imagine or are in the process -- really taking in and digesting a lot of information that's coming in and prioritizing not wanting this very important for us right now.

So make sure that we stay organized so they'll be meeting this morning to make sure that all of the lead if you will information that the information -- needs to be followed up on.

Has been identified has been assigned have been tracked from that point for those meetings will be.

Frequent certainly daily probably at the very least as we continue to move to the information try to establish.

What our strongest -- -- and hopefully eventually make an arrest in this case.

In terms of actual evidence.

Or possible witnesses we've heard about this woman.

Who was out walking in the neighborhood and -- we also heard about a car that was left idling about a block away.

That then pulled -- away from that site.

A little while before this happened -- -- anything more this coming on those two fronts.

You know there's nothing more but -- remain important to us so that vehicle of interest it is a priority for -- that's where were still hoping for even additional information hopefully.

Positively identify that car.

We first put that information -- we did have a few other local residents who called in corroborating similar information having seen the caller as well.

We're also hoping that -- the woman who's exercising in the area.

Made -- have -- that car might even have additional details that help actually firmed that up -- we have not heard from -- hasn't yet.

So outside of the actual evidence in the house and outside of the house that that we discussed.

He then go according to the reports to it to the cases that he was involved in obviously in his position at the prison.

Learn and understand well what was involved in those cases who was involved to make sure that that's a part of our overall investigation still remaining open minded to the number of other series as well.

It is there any key that you can glean from the weapon that was used or that the sort of -- bid.

-- his execution that might give you an indication as to you know what this shooters background and abilities war.

No not necessarily at this point and of course we're not releasing a lot of detail at this point in terms of what we've learned from that interaction or change -- at the doorway if you will.

But there's nothing necessarily that's ruled that that sticks out you know in that regard.

What -- what about his wife because we know that she was in the house did she witnessed this person did she see the person at the door.

Well we're releasing those because right now we have certainly made it known that it was a family member of the -- probably you know 911 was at the home at the time but in terms of what that's coming member's ability what actually witnessed the event -- simply being somewhere else in the house.
