How you decide to Whittle down -- thousands and thousands of stories.
To maybe twelve that end up being sort of -- know stories and songs in your album.
Well that was the same question I was asking myself went out.
And I couldn't believe that.
So many people had written in the -- and that became my question and I just you know it definitely don't buy that pressure like how in the world that I can decide I kind of feel like the stories -- me.
I mean there were just some stories that I read that it jumped out in.
And any other aspect that I noticed it was as I began to read people's stories.
I can pick up on common -- Like topics that were more predominant I'm like you know maybe this is.
Topic I need to write about you know for example you can only read so many stories from people -- -- -- -- -- Their lives were deeply impacted by mom and dad splitting up.
Before you -- before I start thinking you know I really want to write about this about the important.
Marriage is sticking it out and stand together and -- -- their children so topic like that would kind of present themselves in the effort go wow I've read thousands of stories and all deal with this topic maybe I need to address.
-- there's another compelling story about a woman named -- Napier and it's a powerful example of forgiveness this one really impacted me tell tell tell the news about that.
Well you bring Rene like many of the people that wrote to -- Instead of choosing to share with me about eight.
-- stay at her life she chose to share me about.
Probably what -- would call the worst day of her life and she did that because that was a moment that is -- her life in -- -- are she lost her daughter one of her twin daughters was coming down from the beach when I had twenty years old.
When her car was struck by a drunk driver the drunk -- 24 year old kid named Eric he was a good kid by all accounts but he made its tragic mistake in doing so still life of his precious girl well -- young -- that was sent to 22 years in prison.
And -- allow this is mama who will never see her daughter get.
Understandably so just helps so much anger and really hatred towards that young man's -- and and yet she wrote.
Me and said here this guy was going to prison and and yet I felt like how is the one behind bars.
And that's when she began to realize that -- she was ever going to be able suit.
Did out of bed and -- want to put -- in front of the other she had to set this anger free it's as she reached out today young man is OK I want you know.
I forgive you.
And I want you know that your life doesn't have to be over just because you're going to prison that your life king means.
And little did she know that that act of forgiveness.
Was gonna change not only her life.
What that young man's life is well they struck up an unlikely friendship and this woman began to see that young man at all like songs are -- as she -- are Ambac young man's life changed and today he's as green -- out of prison and begun his second chance at life all because of this woman's.
Act of forgiveness.
While this is amazing stories -- bit visit is always that art just inspiring -- -- I can imagine that it's going to be published by about five more albums as well.
Well -- that's the thing I mean I need look no further and -- our -- kind of describe it is like the best at.
What we talk about reality television.
But this is anybody did any -- is this the stories that I've been reading and I'm just so.
-- that people would share their story with me.
And then allowed needs to get some of those stories that voice and what -- noted is that when I tell us.
When I tell her song.
-- tell her story through much sought forgiveness -- -- all these other people out in men I know that there's somebody I need to pick up the phone call today.
All our state there's somebody I need to go and ask forgiveness from and it is the thing that I'm amazed by -- all of our stories are one -- -- million -- these stories are the same thing get in some ways we're all connected you know that word forgiveness even that in the perfect example of how.
