Followed by something praise and then after that we saw a lot of people in the media really asking questions saying.
Is is too self serving considering he has a gay son and he could be doing this solely because of that.
And why did he vote previously and you know so many you know gay marriage issues why would he sponsored the initial legislation outlawed it.
And then the next week we saw Claire McCaskill come out just yesterday and say that she supported it.
And we did not see -- -- response from that even though she was somebody.
Previously opposed that -- previously opposed same sex marriage and then had a pretty major change of heart and that's.
It really just a little egregious especially when you consider that Rob Portman made a really.
Sort of -- announcement not only did he buck his party.
But he is somebody who still on the run for 2016 he is somebody still has a very bright political future.
And he was doing a he made an announcement that really put a lot of that at risk and you know by -- not questioning -- -- It just looks like there's some obvious media -- going -- what would that -- -- just think.
I guess it would just be you know not trusting Republicans I think that's just sort of how a lot of this comes out of you know I think there's a lot of you know kind of partisan -- that go on when these issues come up and I think there is certainly more of -- desire to.
Sort of embarrassed and maybe -- -- Republican for changing his mind.
Then we would see for a Democrat.
Now I don't know just food for thought since that we're doing -- putting that on the table -- being possibly that.
He this media by history action that you're talking about would be more.
Coming for a place of shock because.
Of come from more conservative perspective and that may be a harder turn for someone to take.
For someone who is on the democratic side of things who may have a little bit more of the liberal position generally speaking.
