This year alone and more and more we -- seeing that they are not happy for us with us.
It has consequences for us.
Ralph Peters is a Fox News strategic analyst and author of the book hell or Richmond Ralph good to see you again.
Just to give you a flavor -- -- apparently over there with with with.
Banners reading Obama supports the dictator mercy down with mercy America's agent.
And Bloomberg News -- a long report on this today talking about how they're not happy with our president they're not happy with us and -- that -- the reason they're unhappy.
Is because we're backing a guy who has cracked down on on them -- who bears a lot of resemblance to the old former dictator.
And they don't really think they got what they thought they were gonna get -- Arab Spring.
No absolutely not -- -- president Obama's foreign policy could be summed up in these six words just stop offering me with his stuff.
The Arabs the moderates the cyclists.
Not just in Egypt but throughout North Africa in Syria.
Because President Obama.
Turned away from.
And he is supporting an increasingly dictatorial government in Egypt.
And also tolerating.
Bad actors elsewhere -- me just press for a moment doesn't -- -- be bothered and as a result you're seeing the Arab Spring.
Turned very quickly into a Muslim Brotherhood -- How is it president of -- -- assault or America's fault I mean there.
They're the ones who -- the Arab Spring they're the ones who want to Mubarak out no we didn't stop it wouldn't you know we sat along and sort of encouraged it but.
I mean that's that's what they wanted they wound up you know with that with a leader who.
You you know is cutting down on the press and then -- has all sorts of you know questionable measures.
Ignoring the parliament so on but how is our fault.
Well it's our fault.
For -- in their minds for two reasons one people still think that America can wave a magic wand and make anything happen.
Obama didn't have to embrace Morsi.
He doesn't happen sending more seed money in encouraging international institutions to -- took money.
He should be letting the Muslim Brotherhood fail and it is failing which is why -- he's becoming more dictatorial.
The Egyptian economy.
Is in the tank it's just going -- than that and we're propping it up and it's crazy why are we propping up.
Who among other things by the way are tolerating the the violent persecution of Christians.
As we just saw in -- -- are we propping this government up and as a minimum let's engage in benign neglect.
They seem to want us to be tying some of the aid we give Egypt to more democratic milestones to sort of say look.
If he wants to keep helping you you can beat Mubarak part two or or worst of Mubarak you've got to start.
Doing some -- democratic reforms over there.
And you mentioned the economy in Egypt what a -- -- just some of the stats for our viewers unemployment at 13% inflation's almost doubled since November.
And GDP has grown less than 2% in the last two years and not so great in this country either for that matter but.
It it -- the egyptians are unhappy unrest is growing it is looking less and less democratic we continue to send -- And and and now they are looking not just at their current president -- but they're looking at America.
Wondering why we're not doing more -- -- the break it respond to what a contrast Ralph.
From the wave then candidate Obama said it would be listen.
I truly believe that the day I'm inaugurated.
That not always as a country look at itself differently but the world looks at America differently.
If I'm reaching out to the Muslim world they understand that I've lived in a Muslim country and I may be a Christian.
But I also can understand their point of -- -- -- -- well there's a problem that even goes back to the Bush Administration.
In that the White House under bush and Obama.
Listen to the wrong voices among American Muslims they listened to care and other racquet thinly disguised radical groups.
The keep telling them oh everything we find the Muslim Brotherhood to peaceful organization there's no such thing as violent Jihad it's an inner struggle.
And they buy into this militants -- it's the easiest way to go.
And there's no real effort -- the part of our intelligence community.
To differentiate between the different strands in Muslim societies there are secularist or moderates there are islamists who are violent.
And then there are -- violent extremists to art from -- all this trouble slobbering fellow Muslims.
Ethnically cleansing the Middle East as fast as they can -- of Christians and other minorities.
And if we wind up pandering to the extremists because.
We keep hearing these muzzle voices saying in Washington saying -- these are good guys they're not good guys.
And at some point I would just like to hear the Obama administration simply admit.
That there is such a thing as Islamist terror they still can't we still can't use that phrase Islamist terror -- in classified intelligence reports.
We're self deluded.
And as a result of which.
We are betraying the faith the hopes.
And the trust in America.
Would be Democrats -- the Middle East as a Muslim Brotherhood and other extremist groups.
We'll continue watch president Morsi over there in Egypt and see with the future holds for him in his country things right there do not look good rob thanks.
Thank you --
