Hi Bill O'Reilly thanks for watching us tonight more financial madness in the USA that is -- subject of this evening's talking points memo factor viewer gave Nichols.
Who lives in Okeechobee Florida believes that California will be America's Cyprus.
And he might be right.
The goal -- -- currently owes a whopping 164.
Billion dollars which he can never never repay.
Without selling San Francisco to Beijing.
So in California eventually defaults on its massive debt which -- well.
The Specter of state officials seizing private property might not be all that crazy.
Right now the good folks who live in California paying the highest taxes in the nation 21%.
When you add the state income tax to the state sales tax.
And the financial Madison California is epitomized by the case of 63 year old Susan -- running she.
She is the highest paid county administrator.
In the state perhaps the nation.
-- an astounding 424000.
Dollars a year.
But thankfully for the taxpayers Susan we'll soon be retire.
-- I made a mistake.
I said thankfully she will soon be retiring.
In retirement Susan -- -- she will be making 470000.
Bucks per round that's right.
Alameda County has awarded soon -- it up package worth nearly a half million box every year for a life.
A healthy woman of 63 has a life expectancy of 22 years more.
And when you calculate her pay package -- 22 years.
Alameda County taxpayers are gonna be paying -- well over nine million dollars in her retirement.
So how could this happen well it's all about political corruption.
Says it is a big job.
She oversees a number of county agencies but she did not find a cure for cancer.
In Alameda County that's Oakland.
And many other American counties the power structure in unions.
Take care of themselves and the taxpayers have no blank an idea what's going on.
I mean do you have time to attend -- county hearings.
Craven politicians often sell out to the unions and give them huge pension benefits so they'll not strike -- cause trouble.
Where I live in Nassau county New York benefits through the roof and working folks actually have to move out of the county.
Because they can afford the property taxes.
Cities like Stockton and San Bernardino California Detroit central falls Rhode Island and the entire county of Jefferson Alabama of all collapse financially.
And many more.
Are on the church.
As we are seeing on the national level politicians are buying votes by promising people stop.
Then turning around and giving unions and local governments.
Anything they want result USA is in huge trouble financially.
But Susan -- -- she is not.
She'll be living large in California the rest of her life.
I hope she says thank you courts to each and every taxpayer.
Smell -- top story tonight reaction with a supposed -- -- Bob Beckel.
And you say.
What's big deal this is at the the in this country you free marketeers and it's a great idea to go and negotiate contracts.
She negotiate a contract with somebody.
Whether they were Democrats Republicans they signed it she got the best -- she could she present hey.
Only give me 60000 there's I want to be nice and down a portion -- would you -- yet there's like you get what you get when you negotiate which is -- have a lot.
So what -- -- okay so you don't see the difference between the tax payers.
Paying Susan sorry.
And private industry paying my salary you see no difference between now and all I don't at all because taxpayers are in the voter's they first vote if they want the book will be movement drive tough -- -- -- both were they don't.
That's suppression that -- involved OK but again you don't see the difference between the folks picking up the tab and corporations picking up the -- you know see the the public sector is being different from the private sector to Bob Beckel it's all the same emotion running Alameda County California's bigger than running IBM.
Are you kidding me.
It's yet sees itself puts itself constantly but I -- This is that you produce you -- -- -- got -- got to -- Hundreds of -- got to run but I know my point of the matter is that the politicians behind closed doors sell folks out.
Because it's easier that way it's easier deal with the unions by giving him everything once -- have no -- and what you have one thread I just -- back of a good point.
That the folks keep voting the man.
Then California is -- for example Sacramento is controlled by Liberal Democrats big spending big government people they don't hide that.
They say we want to spend more even though we all.
So much money we can't pay it back and the folks say you know why I want that to a vote for you so they are getting the government they deserve Monday.
Sure yeah there's two threads around if you don't want -- and that is that collective bargaining in this country you take your value and you go in front of people and you say his millions worth.
Now if you don't like that the most negotiate if you don't we'll strike only religion not understanding and will never understand resigned as a -- Bob Beckel.
Is that that politicians.
Are selling the folks out there not.
Negotiating contracts for the good of the taxpayer they're negotiating for the good of themselves and the Democratic Party right now is the party of entitlement.
It's buying ball -- saying we'll give you everything you want if you vote for us and we don't care that there's a seventeen trillion dollar debt.
We don't care.
And that's putting all of us and change your Bill O'Reilly in this -- -- wrong when you're thinking which is that.
When you say something like that it's putting is all in -- -- -- first of all I don't you know we've been through this I'm not as -- -- Have -- you don't you don't think the debt is a problem and I thought I think it's time will be just fine but leaving that aside.
I don't understand -- say -- some people out because they've they giveaway that things to people.
That they're entitled to have no they're not they're not nobody is entitled to have all of the -- her -- -- privileges of of of them a group of people.
There that's not a good negotiate and and I don't begrudge the union's desire and the union member.
In sag the Screen Actors Guild so all right I don't begrudge the unions getting what they can for the workers on -- and on a politician's.
-- you don't -- -- things -- the craven politicians who care nothing about.
And all they want.
Is to get reelected and give away stuff because they say it -- when it collapses I'll be down a Miami someplace.
Yeah -- -- -- to tell me that you're okay with it county administrator getting 500000 dollars a year in pension -- -- -- life you don't think that's ridiculous and.
You know not if you did or ridiculous or not you and so we want more time by asking with a another tray that is I might or might not if you didn't question well I guess negative why do you think it's -- crave it -- oh really.
I'm Craig -- and you're -- -- 100000 dollars a year I don't think the public says -- for a you don't think -- any of some of the a lot bigger than most she's not a private she's getting paid what went oh yes all of the folks elected politician negotiate together moving around the circle here that you're talking points fall flat.
Because this is America and have a right to negotiate the messaging guy you don't believe the politicians -- -- people out to probably have.
Ugly politics that some people up with Julius -- but that doesn't -- -- Republicans but does -- matter.
Identity don't edges of that you're suggesting these are liberal that -- suggests -- your shot here here's what I think I think years -- -- is let's let the liberal -- here's and here's what I'm suggesting that Liberal Democrats including you.
Are leading us to find fiscal disaster the state of California is going to default and I believe if we don't stop the federal madness will -- that in the United States as well last work.
There's been conservatives who run things like Wall Street banks almost -- under I have -- much more faith in unions that I do and how -- banks then Wall Street.
Bob Beckel everybody happy Easter happy you do don't be -- Don't be great word of -- -- correct Nextel.
