Of an organization called women of faith for seventeen years -- the largest conference for women in America but this year we will cover five million member.
But what blows me away is that as I talked to these women I discover them dealing with anger shame.
And that it carried that.
Burton for years so I wanted to have something -- talked a little girls.
And say to them listen you're bound to do worth is not what you -- blond hair or straight -- But the insight who you are as a person has tremendous worth and value and to god you're beautiful.
But how do you do that how do you get that message across when you've got so much.
-- so much influenced by TV -- movies when magazines by everything they have.
I always say -- of people with a -- -- -- by this sort of secular culture of you know what's what what's most beautiful is what's valuable.
I know and I think it's not just.
Young -- to -- across the board -- affected by magazines for getting to that so many magazines or Photoshop the most of those models don't really look like that.
But that's held up as the standard of what BUT is.
But -- -- -- just like looking at the packaging and not what's inside the box which is -- supposed to be valuable.
So I just want to help young girls understand.
That that they have tremendous worth how to be good -- what to do if you're being bullied what to do if you're afraid of me if you think about it.
This weekend is a big weekend for us is the church.
But even as I was packing my son's Easter basket last night my heart turn to -- Connecticut.
For twenty families for the first time this Easter will face Easter with their children.
And so we -- in a world where normal has disappeared it was like another 9/11.
And I want children to know not just -- you cute but you're lawfully but don't -- -- you've got lots you've -- to -- three.
The thing that you most like about this book because they're a lot of different.
Chapters and different devotional but what is -- -- do you like most about this.
I wanted to keep it short and simple because you know kids' attention span you're not going to be the war and peace and they'll be hanging on every word -- I wanted it to be fun things to do.
Things that can do with their friends then little practical things that they could do when they go to school had they could really let their light shine.
And then just a little worse that they could maybe memorize something as simple as nothing can separate me from the love of god.
Almost like little jewels that you just -- into their pockets and -- -- wonderful loving you so much for being -- the book is called God's little Angel shine your light devotional it really is a pretty book.
