Up first all the chamber of commerce issued a statement saying this is a structure we can move for weapon then you look at the senators in that so called gang abate.
Acknowledging the legislation still needs to be written but they are encouraged.
In fact some of them applaud the agreement between the AFL CIO and the US chamber of commerce.
Calling it Martha a major breakthrough in paving the way for immigration reform.
It's a stumbling block that has now been removed according to some.
Allowing immigrants -- would allow immigrants rather to come to the US each year and work in low wage jobs.
Also the senators still want to pursue other goals such as securing the borders all of this some say.
Will lead to passage of immigration reform in both the house and the senate.
First people will be legalized in other words not citizens but they'll be allowed to work come out of the shadows travel.
Then we will make sure the border is secure war.
And we have specific metrics that are in the bill I'm not gonna get into what they are to make sure that that happens and after that happens there's a path to citizenship.
You'll never stop everyone from coming through when you have a lot of commerce legal commerce that happens at the border as well.
So when people talk about having a sealed border we don't need a sealed border we need -- secure border.
So you see other working as some of that line which already that could enter its way into this measure -- some of the senators by the way say all of this is very encouraging and they believe immigration reform.
Can be passed sometime this year Martha.
This has very hopeful lot of folks saying -- there's movement that Marco Rubio put up a red flag on all of this Cali.
-- I think he's putting up a flag of caution and it's a necessary thing to do right now.
He says substantial progress has been made and he finds reports of the agreement between business and labor encouraging but believes more work still needs to be done he says in a statement.
Eight senators from seven states have worked on this bill to serve as a starting point.
About fixing our broken immigration system that's a key thing he's saying.
But arriving at a final product will require to be properly submitted for the American people's consideration.
And then what he adds it's really crucially says that 92 other senators from 43 states must be involved in this measure.
