Good afternoon it is -- morning here on the West Coast and AM of course not here eleven now 1 PM out east for a tactic.
We have a number of guests -- at Dallas New York all over the country is always we have -- -- saying it was -- really -- got the guts and into -- in the last couple of days to show you.
But first chorus -- -- right away going to -- that he used in New York.
Talking about a number -- according to social media make you anti socialism.
One of the big topics all over the web today and she joins us live right now from New York talk about that -- about how.
Maybe if you're involved in social media too much you might be a bit recruitment -- Yeah I -- well yeah I guess some people are we all reading email or FaceBook chatter something.
And basically said I can't believe he just that you know you've been there.
-- know people seem to get these guts but their fingertips.
And they -- really -- that they might not necessarily say to your face this becoming such a problem that the folks over at the consulting firm.
-- -- decided to measure and they find that 78%.
Of respondents reported an increase in online -- and expensive the big number.
And after these online arguments these instances -- virtual instability if you will.
15 people surveyed have cut back on their face to face contact in real life with that person because of the online ratio.
And 25 people ended contact altogether.
So obviously this is a big problem -- -- we need to learn to be a little bit nicer with our fingertips so Adam we reached out.
On social media ourselves and we asked people have you lost a friend because of an incident.
On and email or something happening online and Steve Miller writes in saying.
Yes because we keep looking at others too much.
And then Wyatt says no friends just relatives but I think we cannot share instance where.
There -- -- snap.
Via virtual space causing a real life conflict right.
Yeah absolutely you know it's funny -- I just had a person and -- reconnect him with me is more about file for -- all when I was a kid you have done a street.
Yeah and he was all fired up about North Korea and a couple other people I notice he befriended like a much people.
I actually clicked off the argument I was in our guys -- watching him -- he -- you know he would attack me on it.
And I was watching these guys go back and forth -- actually they're reading their content they can you know it's almost as if because your -- line there's maybe less filters work they were in person having this discussion.
They probably wouldn't have been as aggressive as they were on line so is it's in the things that this did studies find that all -- -- people more more brazen online.
Certainly more brazen because we have you know like the liquid courage I guess it's like -- virtual home car -- but the study also noted that.
People who know -- that.
They don't want to accept rudeness and -- annoyed by yet he keeps persisting so we know it's out there yet we're not helping to make it any -- Sell it's just one of those vicious cycles I suppose no pun intended on that one.
Not know Clinton and all Lawrence and editing process thanks much for joining summit but we go to our next guest before we go on the read this one comment from one -- -- -- point says.
May just be anti social on the Internet because we -- all under pseudonyms and not our true identities so I.
Nice take on that in who plays right into -- story can find more of course are at the end of Lawrence reports as well as on the web -- -- -- want to join us from New York.
From New York we're gonna stay in new York and go to Jerry recap what -- -- technology editor he's there here as well talking also about a -- -- things.
A -- today that the biggest topic of course is windows XP -- it's a big.
Story out there has been a number of people that I've seen online posting rants speaking of on social media.
On FaceBook upset that there -- some of the windows media editors -- -- our picture editors -- weren't included with the new updates and so a lot of people are frustrated right now windows XP injuries -- tells about a Jerry.
Yet here Urich.
Actually -- different names there were talking windows eight and windows XP it's -- little weird.
The -- big news is windows XP is being end of life which means it's officially going to be dead.
We have 363.
Days left to this point in April 8.
2014 is the end of life for windows XP the operating system liberty knew and -- that's what we all got hooked on windows from.
So that's a really big deal.
Corporations like ours you're still run XP a lot of big corporations are still running at you at home I still have an XP desktop if you do it's -- to start thinking what am I gonna do.
And one thing people are thinking is windows eight new computers and we just get something new that's the other big bit of news here that.
Windows PC sales fell drastically dramatically horrifying -- Something like 14% in the past quarter and a lot of people are saying.
Windows eight is to blame.
So two big problems for windows right now and -- lawyer for one thing new thing isn't really working out it's kind of a crisis for the windows world.
Yeah windows had a couple problems before when they do when they've upgraded their operating systems I know.
We've sixties you mentioned here in the studio and unfamiliar with XP while mommy's -- at home have -- little credit with Windows 7.
Yeah and and when it was Windows 7 right people -- a lot of problems with correct.
Windows Vista up was the upgrade to windows XP this is done years -- years to make this and everyone hated it it was.
God universally -- based enough yes Microsoft that they it was actually great success for the company.
Microsoft has a monopoly whatever they do is a huge success they roll out product and Dell and Lenovo and IBM and HP and everyone puts on their computers and Microsoft automatically wins however we the consumers do not win.
This -- was hated and despised.
Windows 7 came out.
Three or four years ago that was the big update to this then that was a huge success and -- loved it again and everything is kind of a success for Microsoft perspective.
So windows eight with the newly released version to upgrade to seven that was hated so they're really going cyclically here XP was great this that was bad.
When -- seven was great when they -- that what's coming up next.
If they're falling on that pattern it's going to be great right now there in this there's real challenging space -- where people are by and these people -- -- these no one is buying desktops.
What are we gonna do it's a real crisis for the -- -- world.
-- so what is the biggest complaint windows eight I mean I know that because for those of us use apple.
Obviously very interactive there aren't a lot of problems with the Apple's you -- -- -- -- LS when they when they updated there usually are very small glitches if that.
I remember when I had a prima windows computers all Taiwanese to be all windows estimate there are a lot more problems is it is it that is it because we have tablets and things are so easy that people are expecting more.
It's funny you mentioned apple because apple is the big problem with windows when apple came out the iPad really changed around the market they sold.
Hundreds of millions of those things and everyone realize that mobility in though the world Smartphones and tablets is where it's at I think if you.
If you ask me and you did some that don't hit Microsoft pushed a little bit too far in their response to that when they came out windows eight which is.
And he won operating system that runs everything that they deal he created this whole tablet interface what's got big buttons and you can touch it you can play around with that.
It's wonderful on a tablet is glorious on a tablet it puts the iPad to shame if you're going to get a tablet go get a windows eight tablet.
However know what hats there aren't really a lot of windows eight tablets.
And the problem is that the same operating system runs on your desktop computer on your laptop computer which does not heavy touch interface you -- doing this on that computer screen.
And if you tried -- -- -- terrible experience I told Microsoft this myself and I met them a year ago I said this is gonna be a horrible experience.
I'm not taking.
Claims that he ever -- said the same thing to them it's just not a very good experience on a computer Windows 7 was a great experience.
They brought this new thing on you go to that computer store these days -- -- get a windows computer.
You kinda have to get a -- -- a computer it's as what's there and people are saying you know what.
I'm just gonna go by had 400 dollar talents they skip the computer I don't need a computer right now the one of -- probably good enough.
It's a real challenge for the company -- right they make their money by selling computers.
They do it won't request -- reviewer just -- it chatting here like Chad thank you well.
-- in -- on Twitter on FaceBook -- right here of course in the live chat asking can all PCs that run XP.
Run -- windows eight.
That's a very personally most of them are pleased me the most and the newer models can be upgraded probably pretty.
Ways of newer computers five even six year old computers I think at this point -- probably still run windows eight it it's kind of remarkable it boots.
Vastly faster than the other computer any -- offering system has if your computer does run XP it.
Probably will run windows eight.
However if you haven't XP computer I think you're going a lot better off just buying -- -- system you get a new computer for 4500 bucks these days it'll be a lot faster.
It'll be a lot more powerful and republic take advantage in the new hardware you know if you got an XP computer you probably don't have USB 2.0.
Much less that super fast USB three point oh and you probably don't have.
High definition interface your monitor there's a lot of things that older computers -- don't have these days.
So might they look for certain new owner if you can't.
There's a lot of choices out there that's for sure I Jerry Kaplan size technology editor always good -- -- like I wanna know I had.
I started to hear the rumblings about windows eight -- -- but also Windows 7 in the whole issue and people of course who loved XP -- -- -- going away if you wanna learn more of course.
Jeremy Kaplan online you can always go to our tech section foxnews.com.
And you see the eleven biggest tech flops of the decade you see right there windows -- -- they write their -- and recap what has all -- information.
Front and center Jeremy thanks again for joining us I was always from New York.
Always a pleasure.
When we come back really talking about Dick -- very -- go to Dallas we're gonna be all over the country again and we also have our gadgets here with a couple cool things that we found.
Including -- health monitor that can fit in the palm of your hand.
All that's coming up right after the break.
Welcome back it's eleven past the hour 1011 here in the West Coast of course won eleven just past once enemy's coast.
You're watching -- take live -- Adam Housley you can follow -- of course.
And -- time and not only on Twitter on FaceBook and of course the live chat right here on foxnews.com.
-- -- now going to Dallas of course here at our first two people are offers to guests were in New York City now we're gonna go to Dallas talk to -- -- body she's the founder and CEO of the marketing zen group -- you can follow her act Sharma.
SH AMA and also -- there -- -- marketing.
Xen dot com.
And we're we're talking about bitcoin and you know we always wondered were bringing in new topic to the to the -- try to make things -- We always ask the -- -- just give us a -- in.
Definitions of people home understand what we're talking about and of course we'll get an adult pop.
Clean sport for people at home watching you all know -- -- -- digital currency.
And if not controlled by anyone -- -- -- to a computer -- but -- -- digital currency you can -- to buy and sell -- And we see more this digital currency more the -- ways people can.
Can buying get involved obviously you online and in by using their all the different technical items -- they have.
Explain to us I guess my first question would be is this something it's that we can expect to continue to expand.
Rapidly and into the marketplace.
Welcome -- what course isn't already been expanding very quickly -- my expensive but it's good it's a bubbled up going to bars.
Still I did what he does that would allow -- still a little -- if you.
Fifty years from the head down that would be might Wendy Kopp a digital currency to -- a -- queen is it probably -- Is it legal.
I mean we -- haven't had -- -- -- back and forth some of this -- you honestly and when community to print their own currency so to speak.
Try to encourage people to shop at home it our our big -- legal.
It seems so so -- doesn't seem like it's illegal because it's -- currency and the people using it to exchange value.
For product concern say it's a yes so far.
I know government has really excited but it doesn't mean that it couldn't Wendy -- And Wendy bit -- could be -- you know.
That's -- I wherever you're -- and you know led to use it anymore.
The other question I have -- title update points is.
I guess who you know what other so many different questions have come up why all of a sudden in the last few weeks have been become such a topic why have.
This attack has this whole idea of having online point -- really.
Become so popular why people talking about what is really what's really -- was the catalyst for this recently.
And that's really good question because that have been around since 2000 not just a lot of people weren't aware of that -- things have been happening in media speculation right so the more we talk about it the more we talk about it and don't worry gets people entry in the start to invest an button and get that -- And of course is what we -- kind of -- in Europe people are scared -- the bank of Cyprus for example you know that fiasco.
And then give us do you look for alternative investments what else can do and to -- looking a -- -- really think you know is this something sound that I should play with.
Or should -- consider investing -- and -- we sort of see the bubble keep growing.
Michelle is is this it is sounds risky I mean it.
There's so many things that could possibly go wrong and -- like the idea of a bit this sounds pretty risky.
We risky I don't recommend it for the layperson.
Because just get big -- is quite hard.
You have to go -- sort of you she process almost you're using multiple sites -- -- the money because it's completely anonymous.
And you can't track the source or the receiver it's just all you know bits and codes in and zeros and ones so it very much is risky.
And I for one do not have -- -- that -- Is there anything that evening and for those were just turning into a comfortable on online asking what they are basic -- -- on line.
Offer anybody who's just tuning in -- mean or for those who -- and watching as well.
Pending any final thoughts you wanna leave us with these big point in his or something it's in -- -- and stable.
They -- they're insecure.
They're exciting possibly this could be a very positive I think for the Internet for right now just seems like they're just to still little bit unstable.
Again the final thing I see is if you're a little nervous you're not sure exactly what -- -- just don't try to go and play -- that.
You know it is above all I do think eventually it very likely will burst its observing kind of watching -- you know what this need me.
This one version -- our future -- how digital currency.
Where we have a one type of currency use continued treatment people all over the well so it's -- gives us a peek into what the technological future.
-- right shot a combined joining us live from Dallas as we.
Tossed your website here is -- viewer that that we -- -- watching from Mexico a puppy eyes so.
We can people watch and from all over the world -- we -- -- -- Indonesia -- -- your website marketing -- dot com she's the founder and CEO of the markings in group.
Are you shall not it's about me joining us from Dallas thanks -- -- time basically was all the information about -- -- and keep is updated to.
As this whole process with these on this online -- continues to move forward.
My guys -- things -- All right.
It is seventeen past the hour we go to break out we're gonna come back -- the guest here Los Angeles talking of an award the Fox News one.
-- and also come political topics to go along with that as well as our famous gadget segment if you haven't seen that before you -- -- -- interesting items you know like including.
This little blue thing right here we'll play all about that coming up after the break.
Welcome back it is nineteen past the hour to nineteen out here in the West Coast are strong joining us live.
I see is a voice actors talking about the shorty awards before argument to attack -- -- is there.
-- -- is -- while watching from Germany.
And also cage 8092 from England I guess of the total watching me England -- I'm I'm watching too from England so appreciate everybody.
Tuning in from around the globe and terrorism talk about the shorty awards are basically.
On the online awards for the best of social media so this is not your typical awards noses in Hollywood patting themselves on the back these are people who could be.
-- -- was -- category for photographer Aaron.
Feel a bit and fitness is actually in the climactic night there was tons of fun.
And all wheels up Casey -- your Q1 and to introduce as well.
As the the deal went on -- would give us like a field because obviously we talk about Casey what do you do to second.
Give us give us a feel like how -- all good how at all goes and all the excitement that was there -- mean -- -- normal awards show is a life.
It's really not because actually went -- quickly it was very well done had a lot of the awards done prior to the actual show.
And when we locked in a lot of people it appears such pinned under ticker up with the use I was kind of -- -- of their staffs really sweet and gracious and then.
There was a live feed room and then there was the room with the -- Life shall I thought -- didn't win cents sitting pretty far back even I had unpopular.
Right and I was the second category -- so does that go hiding in fast and I hadn't raced down to the stage and very -- -- my fans voting and I had a great -- Very -- Casey goes in New York KC 14.
You're the winner for help correct yes Lesnar first -- fitness.
Social fitness so explain what for somebody home how how can you be social -- socially fit how do you do that on line.
Well I am a U2 fitness instructor and so I keep peoples' -- on line with free workouts are like ten -- twenty minutes long.
And people actually -- listening like being sore at me every day and sell.
Through you know sites like -- is Tumblr and FaceBook in my life -- able to Davis.
We know we have some video from from as is the sound from the event if we can show that now it kind of our viewers at home.
Good idea as well we go to guys look -- hit eight.
But think I'd be nice treat you think you guys who -- real light -- -- -- did that nothing is please stand.
Want I'm -- a season that -- as you see.
-- And school lots.
Now ready I'm not rated -- last night prepared to have booty shorts under its own bed okay here -- can't.
-- And why it.
It's not fat and that was just a taste of what I put my callers through every day -- I don't think you.
Beckoned me with that subject -- doing the one -- and pushed -- like -- one of the best acceptance speeches.
I think especially my social media could -- the whole perception social media people are kind of couch potatoes I mean.
That's one way to get a lot the caps that's for sure odds video a lot of fans -- you guys do.
And now have to let I I was there -- had to be 140 characters speech I thought this isn't.
This is what you get the most out of making people actually work out and -- sitting all day long and that's a typical treatment actually dale.
And so people actually get down into precious -- talent to push -- I'm glad the audience actually got up.
Look at the offense from Tampa Florida as well as jury that are watching right now in Kuala common in men and people are going through that's one person just said.
Ryan Denney says now I'm tired after watching that -- -- Seattle's -- here we have a lot you'll do.
-- -- -- blowing up -- online right now on -- could well I'll also Fox News Channel or foxnews.com live won an award for an election coverage.
-- we have some video to -- about election out of your remember watching election nine no I ripple -- Harris walker Jonathan hunt for the hosts -- -- we -- a photo on site has video we actually had.
Some coverage earlier in the week as well tactic -- was like talking about the election had our best best numbers -- -- as people watched.
-- throughout the day of course as well so that was a fantastic time -- -- before more quick question how important are these awards mean yeah -- Hollywood always makes while.
People -- -- the -- like every week there's a -- awards show to pat somebody on the back.
But this really is especially when you talk about social media it's a big deal for you guys.
It's silly things going on now to social he has so much power -- me through my Twitter brings -- 100000 dollars from Elena brain tumor and George -- -- award for raising you know several million dollars for hurricane victims and I think without -- social awareness and people coming together to wait for fans to.
Get in touch with you know their favorite celebrities and I think this award show.
Kids you know awards to people that really engage with their fans and do good things and get people -- -- -- I think it's the wave of the future without being too.
You know appealing to someone just because they're celebrities -- -- they do and having each with their fame right Cathy quickly your thoughts.
Yes -- social media is all about connecting the people being transparent and really just getting your message out there.
And thank goodness for YouTube in my -- and able to connect with my fans and give them what they want.
I'm so thank you everyone out there and and house -- and then shorty awards are making this happen it's social media is the future it is -- bell.

Are you fighting incidents orient dot com slash TT T Ike and KE.
One of the many health items out there but this one so far been with pretty impressed with.
-- check out.
Next was called freedom -- so this is something is out there right now about free Internet.
This is one of the routers you can get with it it's 98 dollars but -- an asterisk by that price because basically it's its deposit for this and you can.
You can actually -- -- they get the posit back -- happy with the service -- -- sit down as a data show -- -- -- large form.
What's -- -- -- -- the idea is to make it a lot more affordable to have high speed Internet at your home at your work.
Something that you're not you know necessarily gonna fire has so many different places.
It gives users you know that one gigabyte of monthly data for free as double typical amount given to users of other services as well.
I'm so so far it's been a pretty popular home modem.
Internet service basically becoming more affordable for people on and is one of the companies doing it 10 my friends actually passes along to me.
And has been nothing but very happy with the service -- -- checked that out freedom pop in 98 dollars and you can't get that money back if for some reason.
You aren't happy with the service for any particular reason.
All right two more things golf cents which over the gulf -- connect to last week they went on the golf club specific goes under golf glut.
Golf glove -- spit it out.
How -- try this to go to the range.
And that's you know they'll tell you more about it but it came it -- right -- -- it gives you an idea of everything from 3-D motion sensors on improving your swing.
It's a 129 dollars all would golf products are about the same refining and in the oval was on the -- -- -- -- like -- extra weight on the club.

The prices against these are all about the same price.
And the final thing is the out of audio box car connection.
I was really impressed with this because this helps you monitor you're driving behaviors -- not just connecting cellphone that kind of thing.
It actually allows you to put this connection -- I'd -- track your vehicles information.
Obviously to different kinds of plans most plans are under ten dollars a month.
He basically plug it right -- you monitor on your Smartphone.
Really easy to install did you safety alerts for your Smartphone and computer.
And -- tablet.
It's it's one of those devices that allows you really manage and maintain your vehicle.
Obvious something that I think out there -- -- -- -- -- here's the -- exercise -- was.
Great of -- -- the boxing -- smallest and plugs right in so it gives you basically.
The ability that a lot of the different car companies have when you take your card to be -- you got to do it now monitoring your self.
An Alaska thing is we're gonna get a -- to try this week in and showed Connecticut called gold zero.
This is a solar company out right now the larger power everything from a refrigerator -- a larger version of this down your cell -- So when -- out maybe in a hiker got and the camping.
You need some power you know when he used power from Indy car you how you -- -- the car on.
This actually one of the companies out there right now or to try that out as well as -- and to be able to -- your report next week.
About how those products work and so far were excited about both mistrust of the solar one -- know -- time to get sent to Haiti in places where we don't have the ability to get power.
If something like this if it works as well as it seems to -- we've been told except in the might be affordable and -- in the human pianist and trying home.
