Eight of Kermit Gaza now he is the abortion doctor -- among other things operating a service for prescription pills.
But the that the bigger story that's got most people's attention is that he's accused of running a house of horrors.
On performing abortions killing children after they we're delivered.
Alive and that's what he's -- trial for that is that.
-- got some attention it wouldn't be accurate to say gotten a lot of attention and that brings criticism.
People saying that.
-- people from the mainstream media.
The left leaning mainstream media the left leaning media.
Are not picking up the story because it doesn't fit their political agenda and because of that I want to bring in Cal Thomas now joins us via Skype.
And cal let me ask you is this a case of of bias by consensus we don't like the story we're not gonna touch it let it go away.
And I just want repression -- he sent it -- -- little just smarter.
Oprah is going on your -- are particularly in the center is located just learn our viewers listeners -- -- -- many reasons I wanted so it's.
You don't sit in the room and say well how we gotta keep this story from -- getting on the air.
We're getting -- newspapers -- that most of the people immediately think alike when it comes to abortion.
And over the years we've found that there's some newspaper publishers and or -- their spouses.
And does some heads -- broadcast networks have made contributions to Planned Parenthood so I think that that tells you something right there.
There is an incredible pro abortion bias.
He and the media and I think that's what's at work here.
For example ABC has not done a story and any of their news programs.
Not a Good Morning America not on Nightline not a world news tonight only recently and I think in the last week -- that it NBC.
-- even mentioned this story CVS is that a little better their excuse was well we've got a lot of other stories competing for our attention.
But let me just that brought analogy here.
If this were let's say one of the crisis pregnancy centers of which there are a couple of thousand at least.
Around the country and of the leftist that after fourteen years to try to.
Shut down or exposed -- not giving women the full truth according to them then you know the media would be all over this.
But because a lot of the feminist approach -- Think that any story that reflects badly on abortion on demand would limit.
A woman's access to abortion -- -- the moment of delivery and in this case after delivery when the baby has -- five -- a fortune.
They don't want anything to do it and that's what's at play here.
This is so essentially if you pick this story up if you decide this is something that ought to be in the in the form for public debate.
Your anti when it.
You know that was the use of the words the words that are chosen that carries a lot of this -- you get.
-- -- -- Both of pro lifers want to -- but they're called anti abortion by the big media by the big media the mainstream media except the pro choice you have collapsed.
So it's all about language and it's about pictures.
Once again that some of the -- is that what we don't wanna cover this because the pictures are too crude sub.
Well they wouldn't mind that you recovering back Alley abortions because those pictures.
Drive their agenda.
Right right right but you know there's another point -- I saw it doesn't -- -- with the with The Washington Times put out a an op Ed column today saying it's a good thing.
That even though he disagrees with the political agenda it's a good thing that the -- the media doesn't come in descendant.
People like me don't put a -- to pressure on the judge and jury in this case because they can render a decision without a lot of pressure.
Well good luck I mean you've got this Jodi arias.
Trial going on in -- Arizona it's got everything from.
Kinky sex blood do -- slit throat yeah this is the -- my covering bad.
Because that's sensational and it doesn't reflect on any laws that they want to either maintain.
So it's all about -- activity.
The abortion issue has since 1973.
The -- -- had the most divisive issue in this country and now we're going to get apparently a ruling next month on the same sex marriage business.
Another political hot potato.
But when when this is so entrenched that this is a woman in intrinsic right to choose whether to bear a child she is conceived.
And when you have the overwhelming numbers of the media on this side -- abortion that this is what you get in the coverage is not a mystery.
